Thanks Dragon! Was really hoping at this point in time to have cleared target 1 and the £1000 was to blast off target 2 which i am managing to reduce by a paltry £2month when making full minimum payments

So a little update because it gets it all out of head rather than going, must remember to note etc. etc. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So just made a start and it's great to see that i've made some progress already :T - spread out over 1-20 targets i've paid off over £100 today which is the most i've done in ages and once my wages arrive in my account tomorrow i'll be able to pay some more :j

Will be fab to finally pay off 1 target in full which will be target 1 and aiming to do this within the next 2weeks if possible ;) Then will have to come up with a new plan to get rid of target 2

+22p into boiler fund today :T - this should be getting a bit of a boost tomorrow too - hopefully about £10 from money i'm owed but never expect to get back ;)

    Hiya everyone :D

Well i couldn't go on my run yesterday as i had to sort out some money stuff which could only be done in my lunch hour - plus it was pouring although i think i'd have still gone out.

Anywho's i tootled into the shop to see if there were any reduced price goodies  - there weren't but this did not stop me from buying not 1 but 2, 2 i tell you cakes  - well i'm partly  and partly :T :o The thing is i love a decent slice of cake with a cuppa :coffee: and the idea of it puts me into a nice relaxed frame of mind and i had a really rotten day at work.

But that cake purchase has scuppered my target this week on the food budget - definitely need to do better on this one next week :)

The cakes were there and on offer and as much as i want to lose weight i still think a piece of cake a week is fine - because if i thought i couldn't have this i just wouldn't bother :o

P/t work ticking over nicely although it'll all quiet off next week because of the holidays. Checked for M/S and cashback which is still waiting. Off now to have a shower in the hopes of feeling more human ;) am a tired, tired bunny this week. Whilst upstairs though i hope to lift out a few bits for e-bay and carboot :T

I do wonder too - i don't have loads and loads of stuff - this isn't a big house and there isn't tons of storage but i still feel like i have too many things just weighing me down - so yes another big purge ready to be done :D

Ooh and drum roll...... + £10.02 into boiler fund :j:j:j

    Hiya Everyone

Well as its been a long weekend for most people i thought i'd better pop a post up :) Although i have been working this weekend :( - no extra money mind just in my usual job.

I posted 1 more item on e-bay  the good news is it already has a bid so unless i don't receive payment then this'll be posted out soon and i can add to my total :j I really should be aiming to add 25 things a week - this way 25 items a week at 99p each = £100 if they all sell at just the minimum. With such a large quantity though i'd hope to sell some things for more than minimum which would cover the items that don't sell - if that makes sense. Plus the postage won't be exact so if 100 things sold for 99p each it would be £100 due to the extra pennies on there. I don't overcharge on my postage but do charge for postage and packing as i have no means of getting free bubblewrap etc and sometimes if something sells for 99p and i'm paying for the packaging it really wouldn't be worth it.

The 2 items which have bids on though were listed at a higher price so all good there :T

Oh and is there any chance anyone could give me a friendly push in the right direction? When i posted the other day about purging my wardrobe of things and about having too many things i started a process of lifing out sections of my wardrobe - so i have all my jumpers and cardis in one section, jackets grouped together, skirts - you get the picture :) Anywho's i'm currently working through 1 section at a time and am at the tops section at the mo :D but when i've had things out i said "but they're all so pretty" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: The good news is that OH pointed out i have lots of lovely things that i don't seem to wear so that means i'm now going to make more of an effort to wear these nice things that i have - although some aren't being worn until i've shifted this weight which is hard to do until the doctors get my medication right :o:cool: Anyways back to the friendly push :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: i still need to part with some of this stuff that i have so any advice on how to go about doing this would be fab :D I don't want to part with those things that don't fit as i'm aware once my medicine is sorted i should get back to my usual weight and don't want to have to buy a whole new wardrobe at that stage. But i do want to have less things and raise some money by selling these too ;)

The plan for today is to go out for a run - currently pouring down so should be fun - i like a good splosh through the raindrops :T But i'm on here having just breakfasted and done 1 lot of pots as i've gone back to my free bingo after a brief break. I know i just posted about wanting less things but i just bought a new pair of boots :D - the reason being the one's i have have been worn to the point that there are now holes in them  These ones i got with a birthday voucher and my new boots were technically free as i got them with my free amazon vouchers that i've been saving up :T

So just playing through this last game and then i'll pop tops back on the bed to be sorted through and then out for a drenching in the rain :D After that it'll be time for a shower and then a bit more of a sort out on these tops - see if i can get something else listed on e-bay :D

Oh - bit of an unbudgeted spend yesterday too :o i needed some new eye make-up remover, new toothbrushes were needed, hair conditioner and a little bottle of hair product - so off i went and thought i could pay for the majority with vouchers - sadly not - i still have the vouchers but these can only be used for specific items - i thought this would be the case - but all those things i bought came to nearly £10  as i said, unbudgeted  so need to make up this money too.

Right time to don my sneakers and go and get wet! - Hope its a good monday for you all - and hope it's sunnier than here too :D

Hey DDFW, you've done really well!

With regards to the clothing - the ones you want to wear once you've lost weight. Do you really love them and would wear them? Or are you going to want to buy new clothes anyway because you don't really like them. I would say, if it's the latter, then sell them and get rid of them. Better to have the cash now to pay towards your debts if it's likely you will want to replace them anyway. If you really like them, then keep them by all means.

I've got to go through my wardrobe again. I kept a load of stuff last time I did it, but still haven't worn them, so I'm not sure what the point in keeping them is.

Hope you enjoy your run! It's raining here too unfortunately, but supposed to brighten up this afternoon.

Thanks for the advice Jwil :D Have lifted out 2 tops to list - so fingers crossed there - yes i do love the clothes i have but these 2 i really thought - will i wear them and when? - and really i'd probably choose to wear something else so to ebay they go :D The problem with my tops is that when on holiday last year we found a shop where i was getting tops (casual ones) for about £6 that should be £50 each - 1 of these is one of the ones i'm going to sell so hope for a few pounds for it :) I did buy about 6 tops but they are fab and all for less than the price of just 1 top if bought at full price :T

Hmm... am all showered now and working out what to wear when i go out with OH later - best dry my hair and pop some make-up on in a while methinks but first i'm going to have me a cuppa :coffee:

Following the bank holiday weekend - which didn't feel too much of a bank hols for me as i was working over the weekend - but still it was loverly to have monday off! I have decided on a more leisurely start to the day - but am already slightly panicing in case my train doesn't run on time :o If i catch the later train and its on time its just over an hour door to door for me to get to work but as they are not too understanding about trains being delayed / cancelled etc. i've spent several months catching the earlier train which means changing trains - at a location where there's nothing going on and its often freezing  and this earlier train means i'm travelling - door to door - 1hour 45minutes. Now if that 45mins were productive then great but i get less done as its a busier train so struggle for seating and when i get off at the other platform its all i can do to try and stop shivering :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So have decided at least once a week i'll catch the later train - it means i'll get more done at home - part of which will hopefully be finding a job i want to apply for - i don't see the point in moving from this job to another job which i'll dislike just as much :o

I have also decided to stop drinking over the next few weeks. I tend to have a drink over the weekend but in a bid to do something else to be rid of this excess weight i'm carrying round i've decided to cut out alcohol - no weddings or parties lined up so thats good. i just want to reduce my calorie intake and also want to see if this will help to improve my skin any :o So yesterday when out with OH i drank cordial - only spent £2 :j:j:j and got home and made a cuppa :coffee: I have also found an exercise class i should be able to attend each week so am going to ring them for details. May not be today though as its to a mobile number and don't want to use my phone for that

    Plan for tonight -
list 2 things at least on e-bay!
    do free bingo
if i want tea - make porridge!

Have a good day all :D

Sounds good, Dedicated. I had a very heavy weekend on the celebrating front, so I'm considering a little experiment in non-alcohol consumption myself! ;)

Have a great day and best of luck with your list. :)
