Hiya All!
Crikey where has the day gone too? Well there's been work and grocery shopping and washing of pots and the presenting of a card and gift  - very budget friendly (less than £3 for card & gift :jand was very well received)
So methinks i need me a list of things - i have to get the house clean - usual ongoing housework and again since nothing has really built up since my big clear up it is more just cleaning rather than moving a gazillion things as well. i also want to go for my walk - hopefully it'll help me loosen up as i am a tad achey after yesterdays run :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So ToDo:~
1, dust upstairs
2, vacuum upstairs
3, dust and vacuum hall, stairs and landing
4, dust living room
5, vacuum living room
6, clean kitchen floor
7, change ready for walk :T
8, set washing machine on
9, return from walk and e-mail tutor
10, shower and lift out nail stuff to do toe-nails - also lift out fancy shower gel and body cream
11, settle down to something to eat and crack on with cv
Feel ready to nidge me in the right direction if i have missed anything off. Best get cracking then :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Getting there with my list, i am going to 1 wedding this week and another next week so i am doing toe nails ready for this weekend - saving me a job tomorrow really as i have a few other things to do as usual and don't want to leave it all to the last minuteCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
So from yesterdays list i still have to e-mail tutor
and have my cv to finish off - although this one is very time consuming - really would like someone who works on cvs to look over this or help write it to make it the best it can be but i just don't have the money for this.
Speaking about the money that i don't have today i have to go clothes shoppingthis would usually be something that i love to do but as i've no money to spend on clothes i am most definitely not looking forward to it. I have also limited myself to 3 shops but think the first one doesn't open until 10am - shop 1 = second hand shop - positive vibes my dress will be here please folks, shop 2 & 3 nearby. Turns out my weight is so up and down (thyroid symptom) that yesterday when i put my dress on for the wedding it was way too snug :o today i popped the dress on and it was a bit uncomfortable - fine when stood up but tight when seated
which is what i'll be doing alot at the church and then the meal. As i was planning to wear the same dress for this weeks wedding and for next weeks wedding i have no back up outfit and can't risk the dress being unbearably tight and spoiling my enjoyment of my friends days. If it was just a little uncomfortable i'd probably risk it but can't guarantee how i'll be tomorrow *yikes*
Ended up spending about an hour working on the garden yesterday.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hope you manage to find a dress today!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

*natch*
Dress duly purchased :j and the lovely lady who served me knocked nearly £20 off the price for me :T:T:T Really massively helpful of her and something she didn't need to do as i'd already committed to buying the dress
The other dress is still stunning though (the slightly too tight one)
but the plan is now that i will wear that one to a couple of special birthday partys that we're attending later in the year so really have a target to aim for now and hopefully my tablets will be all sorted by then.

Woosh! Forgot to say i e-mailed my tutor :T Doubt i'll get my cv done today - lots to prepare for the wedding tomorrow. Just in the middle of a manicure - done it myself and am at the drying stage
Hoping it all drys ok - last time nails were still tacky 2 hours later  so i ended up removing the polish - what a waste of time eh?
Should maybe let my nails dry and then lift everything out ready for tomorrow - as its a very early start don't want to be rushing around in a panic. Final coat due on after these - fingers crossed people that they stay nice and non tacky and non chipped
In money news - finally got back to that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: i got my cheque for surveys which was about £30, this covers cost of new dress - my other dress i'm not wearing was just £7.50 so i think £37.50 for 2 dresses is very reasonable really given the original cost and quality
Had to borrow some money to get the dress and for this weekend so will have that to pay back once its all totted upCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

And a lovely weekend was had by all!
Don't you just love spending time with those people who inspire you to be better and do more and encourage you to do all the important things in life and forget about the rest ? Yes, even on their wedding day my friend spent some time talking with me and making me feel good about myself. *this also makes me want to be a better friend*
:)
Too much money was spentbut this was because any amount was going to be too much and next week i will have it all to do again  Why did i even unpack? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So i have perused a couple of other threads and blogs which has also left me with alot to think about. On one i was asked if i have a plan? And i guess i do - as my thread title says to be debt free & mortgage free, but how to get there and what sort of a life do i want? Well my great May plan has fallen a little by the wayside and so will become the Great June Planand by doing these plans - the big picture broken down into smaller goals is how i will get there. I finally feel like i know the kind of life i want to live and some of these things i do already - growing some of my own food, knitting, designing - generally being creative
i have just recently started to exercise again and have my kit packed again ready for this today :T because i want to be that person who i admire - the person i see getting up and doing something positive and beneficial with their time - basically i'd just be sat at my desk otherwise
I have also got my writing packed in my workbag too ready to do on the journey to work (bleurgh!) :T because i want to do something that i love
I have alot of work to do on my cv and am really considering finding the funds to pay for this to be professionally done as i'd like to be in a job i don't mind doing - a job i like would be fab - but one i don't mind going to would be ok until i finish my studies
The other thing i was reading about was the way time is finite and for everything we do there is something else we don't do and the choices that we make. One thing that struck me with this was the time i gave up to get my house sorted outit was ok but some of it really needed doing
By spending that time doing a really good job even if i do say so myself :A the house feels better to be in - knowing it has had such a thorough clean
but its also easier for me to get organised
as in today i have packed my writing but i think i want to look at another piece of writing i'm working on and now it will take me 2 seconds to put my hands on it - before it was just too much trouble trying to work out where everything was - so even though i gave up a good chunk of my time to get the house sorted out as far as it is this has allowed me to access things quickly which encourages me to do the creative things i want to do :j:j:j
Wow! what a huge post this is turning into. So to brighten up the fact that i'm going to work (i seriously considered ringing in to try and get a holiday today) Things i have to look forward for the rest of the month are:
Being away again next weekend
Writing whilst journeying to work
knitting whilst journeying home - i sometimes have someone who knows me sit with me
Free exercise in my lunch break Yay! for running :j
A local family fun day :T
Watching a band - will try and stick to water / cordial to save on the spends
Oh and i nearly forgot! My book came :j:j:j the learning keyboards one :j:j:j so guess where i'll be for my first 20mins after getting home tomorrow :T:T:T
Plenty of happy things there methinks. Have a good Monday all - i'll be back on tomorrow xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
