Well done on the ebay listings!
Hope all is well otherwise. Good plan to go back to swimming, and with the healthy eating. I've been thinking about it today too. My biggest problem I think is that we eat a lot 'on the go' and that is where the high fat, high cal things come in. Also because I hate the kitchen and lack of workspace I have been relying much more on convenience foods than I should. Those are my biggest barriers I think (apart from my willpower!) and so I've got to plan around these. I've got over 10st to lose so need to do something about it.
See now I'm waffling on on your thread :rotfl: Hope you enjoyed your wine!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Dragon Message box now has a bit of space in it
Jwil - wine was lovely thanksbut my plans for today have been well and truly scuppered
Whilst enjoying my wine last night and watching a film with OH, OH informed me I had a free ticket to an event today - he was due to go and can't so its an opportunity for a bit of a day out for something i can't afford to do so :j:j:j The swimming will still be there on other days  In truth i should have got up early and gone but they don't open early and due to the very disturbed nights sleep i had i made the decision to stay in bed and get an undisturbed couple of hours rest this morning. Feeling slightly more human for it
Have done my MS report and booked another MS in.
Checked my ebay for items i listed yesterdayi know, i know
Part of my problem with weight is the same - i eat alot of rubbish foods such as sandwiches for work - cheap to make- then get home and have toast - again cheap and quick and easy to prepare
Really need to cook some individual meals - by that i mean batch cook some meals and put some in individual portions. I try not to eat whn i get home around 11 but after i felt like i was going to keel over the other day when i didn't eat its not always the best idea
Ooh also got my photo albums sorted out :T so thats another thing off the list. Right, now i've got to do my hair  get dressed ready to go out and the washing up and window and wall cleaning will have to wait until later. Oh almost forgot to say - i'm expecting a £5 payout on a survey site :T

Hi All,
Well the start to today feels a little like a repeat of yesterday - got to throw myself in the shower before getting hair - make-up etc done - think i'll pop my dress in the bathroom with me then it won't need ironing
Checked my e-baya few items have watchers - really hope these sell - positive vibes please
Think i'll need to be up early tomorrow as may need to go back to the doctors - will see how i go on for the rest of today first  - nothing to worry about just a little problem that needs fixing and if it doesn't repair itself i'm not going to be awaiting it getting worse. Not sure if its something where i should go to A&E but as its neither an accident or emergency then i'll go to the docs and see what they suggest
House still mostly tidy - Next area of focus is the kitchen table - somehow a surface that becomes easily covered with items that don't belong there  but as i'll be out quite soon doubt there'll be time to tackle this.
Think the fasting day could be today but we'll see later. As I again have an upset stomach and will be going out soon  maybe the best choice will be to avoid food for a bit. Am not hungry and will eat if i do become peckish but certainly feel better without running to the bathroom every 5minutesTMI? :rotfl:

Hope you've managed to get a doctors appointment DDFW. I'm curious too about the fasting day, I'd never manage one! (Well actually I couldn't if I wanted to, as it's a problem for me if my blood sugar drops too low).
Positive vibes heading your way for the ebay sales!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all - a very quick post before i head off to bed
Dragon & Jwil - i like a fasting day on occasion it just helps me stop eating lots of bad food stuffs and i do feel better for it too. I don't do them too often - maybe 1 a year or maybe 2 at mostIf i got hungry then yes i'd eat but its usually after i've not been eating the best foods and am not peckish, yesterday was easy given my upset tummy which has been a bit better today
Erm, didn't make it to the doctors as i had a bit of an oversleepi was incredibly tired and the only way of getting an appointment is to ring up very early and see if they can fit you in - will see how i go on tomorrow *eep*
Ok, best go - hope you all have had a good day xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi all,
Well i have been mulling things over for a long time now. I cannot help at times but to feel down about thingsbut now i am going to post about what i want to achieve, the life i want to be living and the steps i am taking to realise this
Please feel free to give me a nudge in the right direction if you notice i'm not following this and words of encouragement will be most welcome too
:D Some of the things will be long term / way of life - with 1 or 2 shorter term targets.
I have probably skirted around this issue quite a few times and for various reasons. Now is the time to prioratise me and the life i want to live. As I am only posting this on here and not discussing it with others any positive words or support will be invaluable:D
1, Learn to play keyboard / piano - the reason for this is i started this when i was little and after a bit of a knock to my confidence gave it up. So today i have ordered myself a 'teach yourself keyboard book' :T and on its arrival will be practicing - aiming for 20mins a day / 3hours a week. The 20mins a day will have the added bonus of giving me time to do something i enjoy every day and something i can therefore look forward to.
2, Running this will obviously have a positive impact on my health, weight and get me out in he fresh air - or more than likely the pouring rain :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I have packed my bag ready to take to work tomorrow and in my lunch hour will go out for a 30mins run through the town  giving me enough time to get changed and have lunch as well. The positive impact on my weight should also help with my confidence and give me some 'head space' too.
3, Writing - i have very much not been in the mood to do this of late - hoping that as i focus more on myself then i won't let the moods of others effect me. Time to do this in = train travel time working out to about 6hours a week which is not too shabby :j Oops must pack bag for this too
4, Study -:o:o as above it has been impossible to focus with all that has been going on here + with my illness i have had no energy to do this either. In my diary to e-mail tutor and sort out catch-up
5, Knitting & Crafting :rotfl: - Again a lovely way to relax, learn something and see what has been produced at the end of it. This will be done when I'd usually be on free bingo sites as i'm giving these a rest for a bit
6, New Job - i will get a job which i love and gives me the potential to go on learning and growing and pays very well too. Taken some time off work this week to focus solely on cv
7, Swimming - at end of month go for a swim and then start going 3x a week - something i used to enjoy doing and again the positive effects on health, weight, shape and confidence :j:j:j
8, Cooking / baking - use a new recipe from cookery books each week - again something i enjoy.
9, Monthly Money Plan - post the monthly target and how i will achieve this - initially to pay off debt and then to pay off Mortgage :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi Dedicated - it's nice to see you so positive about everything, but to be honest you are doing exactly what I do which is try to do a million and one things all at once, then end up wondering how everything didn't manage to get done. Perhaps you might be best to set yourself say 3 targets for this month, then try and integrate another 3 next month etc? It's just that you are so busy with work, study etc. and I would hate to see you feel down at not achieving all your goals, when getting even more into your day is a massive achievement in itself as they are so jam packed!
Cor...how harsh of me to just turn up and say that after not being around much lately. I hope you don't feel that I'm trying to put a dampner on, or anything - it's just that apparently it's easier to achieve your goals when they are S.M.A.R.T. (some anacronym for being well-defined, realistic, and with a set time frame)

Hi Again Everyone!
Pickle - lovely to see you again. i have missed your diary but understand why you decided to stop posting ((hugs)) to you too. You have made some great points hon and I will definitely try not to do everything at once and get no-where fast - i do know exactly what you are saying.
Well I have already made a start on 3 things on my list :j:j:j Today I went running in my lunch hour. Was quite straightforward getting organised for this, just took my gym stuff with me, quick change in the bathroom and then out there and if felt fab! :T:T:T The sun shone and i definitely got the 'head clearing space' which was great. i returned to work with enough time to eat my lunch before starting back again. This has been great for me as the hour for lunch has been a time i have just spent sat at my deskSo i am not losing time from anything else in my day
Tomorrow i'll just need to make sure i go running when OH has gone out and before i go in for my half day as i really want to keep up with this :T
Have to say it felt brilliant just getting out there and doing something i want to do, thats just for me and is good for me and is something i admire other people for doing. Yeah! Where are the smileys with pom poms when you need them? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Before this on the train on the way to work i worked on my writingand then on the way home i got on with some knitting
woohoo! :j:j:j
Tomorrow i'm e-mailing my tutor so that'll be:-
running, knitting, writing, study :j:j:j
i also really enjoyed picking up my writing pad again and also relaxing with my knitting so all good thereCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
