Positive thoughts for the survey money and the job application heading your way!

That's a shame you don't have the long weekend, do you get any of it off at all?

Ours will mostly be taken up by flogging stuff at car boots assuming the weather holds, so not too much time to relax. It's all worth it though in the end.

    Hi all

Well I had my appointments at the docs :eek::eek:

Done both my free bingos already

Got to ring about the possible MS and crack on with application - its not a CV but answering 12 pages of questions

    Day 1: paid 6.38/1025.38 total = 1019:T:T:T e-bay funds
Day 1: paid 27.00/1019 total = 992 :T:T:T interest still to be added though (money from e-bay)
    Day 2: paid 20.00/992 = 972 :T:T:T p/t work
    Day 2: paid 8.00/972 = 964 :T:T:T MS money
    Day 3: paid £10/964 = 954 e-bay money

Day 3: paid 2.00/954 = 952 had change from cost of postage :D
    Day 3: paid 7.00/952 = 945 kept shopping under budget :T:T:T
Day 3: paid 10.00/945 = 935 some funds i was owed but forgot about :D
    Day 3: paid 10.00/935 = 925 variation in wages :D
Day 4: paid 10.00/925 = 915 would have been more but main salary has not been paid correctly either
Day 5: paid 16.72/915 = 915 interest was added today for this amount so total remains the same
Day 6: paid 20.00/915 = 895 overpayment just from money in bank - need to get p/t wages in to cover DD's though
Day 7: paid 5.00/895 = 890 OH paid my travel costs to work
    Day 8: paid 14.00/890 = 876 p/t work + e-bay sale
    Day 9: paid 40.00/876 = 836 bingo winnings :T:T:T
    Day 9: paid 5.00/836 = 831 received extra money towards shopping :T:T:T
Day 10: paid 15.00/831 = 816 p/t work - wages will be in at end of month but as i've worked the shift will shuffle the money over now ;)
    Day 11: paid 15.00/816 = 801 p/t work
    Day 11: paid 10.00/801 = 791 survey funds came through :T:T:T
Day 12: paid 5.00/791 = 786 just wanted to meet a payment today so tightening of my belt on this one :)
    Day 13: paid 75.00/786 = 711 carboot profit :T:T:T
Day 14: paid 15.00/711 = 696 returned my top successfully and if i'd kept it the money would still have been out of my account :D
Day 14: paid 10.00/696 = 686 got a place with my horse in national :j:j:j
Day 15: paid 21.00/686 = 665 realised i had a bit of money in an old account so went to the bank and withdrew it and paid off card :)
    Day 16: paid 5.00/665 = 660 OH paid my travel costs :)
Day 17: paid 10.00/660 = 650 OH treated me to a meal out - usually i'd have to put at least £10 to cost and if I had paid this i'd still have to make budgets work
    Day 18: paid 50.00/650 = 600 Cashback money received :T:T:T
Day 18: paid 10.00/600 = 590 OH paid for drinks for me - I'd usually have to take at least £10 with me and get a couple of drinks and again would have just had to make budgets work
Day 19: paid 20.00/590 = 570 the carboot i did last week was with a friend and they miscalculated (due to the amount of change we both took) :j:j:j
Day 20: paid 5.00/570 = 565 OH is going to be paying my train fare today :D
Day 20: paid 16.00/565 = 549 Amount not spent on drinks in the sunshine ;)
Day 21: paid 5.00/549 = 544 Just making a token payment so i keep up with PAD
Day 22: paid 10.00/544 = 534 Bingo winnings arrived swiftly into my account :T

*Eep* Super quick post before i rush out of the door to work. Suddenly have my friday sorted - cleaning car - needs to be cleaned desperately  then i need to buy some new parts for it then MOT it and then sell it - should be easier to sell with MOT i would imagine?

The Great May Challenge then will also include getting the car up, running and sold - clearing much needed space - and hopefully giving my funds a much needed cash injection - not sure what the price will be for it but am hoping keep £1000 for debts and then use the rest towards much needed house maintenance. The problem has been with this as ever - the need to spend money (on replacement parts, mot etc) before i can make money by selling my beloved car.

So if you find me on here on Friday feel free to give me a push in the direction of car cleaning :D

Have fun with the Great Car Clean tomorrow DDFW. I shall be sorting things for the numerous boot sales we are planning on attending this weekend.

    Have a good one!

    Hi All

Well it has been a very leisurely start to the day - thanks Pickle - lovely to 'see' you again by the way :D and Jwil - hope you make lots and lots at the carboots :D

Have a fair few things going on here at the mo. meaning I am moving through more decisions  - but these are the things where a time limit can't be put on them - means i am distracted with this though. Hopefully the car clean will give me the chance to reach some decisions or it may be the case that its too much time to think and i perhaps need to stop thinking and just come up with some answers. One thing that is definite is that i am now at the stage of working towards prioritising myself - not something i am used to so will probably be a work in progress for a while

Just done a MS report. Spent far too much yesterday too  will update later though.

Today, i will have to wash pots, clean car, do some tidying up, make tea - i've done both free bingos and no wins to report today.

    Back later

Thanks Dragon ;) Will probably need some more pushes in the right direction today too :D Cleaned car as much as i could friday and needs another do today - was given some great advice on another thread so have some specific cleaner to buy too.

Had a bit of a shock with my DD's - for some reason got some coming out early - probably bank hols and also they do say in T&C's can be requested 3 working days either side of date (i checked just never been this early **eep** - typically this puts it 2 days before payday :eek::eek: Have moved the money i can and will need to borrow a small amount as I can't get into the bank to pay cash in as its bank hols obviously :o:o:o

Right so thats the (lack of) money sorted. Think its possibly not worth listing on e-bay today as weather is nice and people are probably away, over the next bank hol... will see. The plan is to go through the e-bay box and check what there is... hmm maybe a list is in order as i feel a pottering type of day is in order :D

E-bay box - check what there is and add to it where possible ;)
2 item move - basically everytime i go upstairs or into another room i need to move 2 items right out of the way and into their own place :T hoping for a much tidier house by the end of the day as long as i don't stay sat down all day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ponder a list of free taster courses and see what i can attend - then put the details in my diary ready to call up Tuesday :j:j:j
Get all MS jobs inputted onto spreadsheet ready for tax return  - have broken this down into smaller jobs - initially got all paperwork together, then put it in order so this should be the final stage and then it can all be stored away :T:T:T - aim to get 3mths inputted today
    Clean car - again
Do a bit of a chucking out session - 1 or 2 things lying around that i need to get rid of
A garden clear out - throw out some rubbish in there, clean up 1 or 2 bits i've identified for carboot ;)
Try for some time sitting in the sun with a pretty notebook - and a pencil and jot down some of the personal targets i have :D

That'll do for now, will see how i get on :D
