Wow, DDFW, you are flying through getting rid of that card. I've been shamefully lacking.

Hi Jwil
The credit card actually isn't going down as fast as i'd hoped - there is approximately 1/3rd of the month left i think and i still have over half the balance to clear
Didn't help that I didn't list anything on e-bay last night - first job when i get in tonight.
Still no news on my survey payment
And today won't be an NSD as I have run out of foundation :eek::eek:
Have to dash for work now but will be back later and see what kind of plan i can cobble together
Am also a bitthat everyone i know is enjoying a nice short week this week and i have to work as usual - oh well - nothing will change that so i'll pop a
on my face or even a
and get on with it

Hiya all
Back in for an update and to try and get my money thoughts together - after all thats what I should be focusing on here isn't it? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So it wasn't a massively spendy day - I did a bit of reduced price grocery shoppingand got my new foundation too
I did pick up a blusher - i have been wanting to try a different shade for a while now for a new look and i also picked up a meal for £1.50 (reduced price) but after walking about a bit with these extra things i returned them and managed to pick up this evening meal for 11p!!! The blusher will have to wait until another time when i have the money and the one i currently use will just have to do
So, I took out £20 for Sunday drinks - it was a lovely day and OH was going out on his own but in the end his friend turned up after all - i spent £4 (rounded up and change put in my purse ) so once again i think i should pay the £16 off target 1 - if i had spent this much - and there are many times in the past when i would have, then i would have to make my money work. Hopefully things like this are a sign i'm making progress
OH paid my travel costs today :T £5 to pay off target 1 :T Then I got to work and had to pay £5 for a collection
I didn't get my e-bay items listed so that'll be added onto tomorrows list
Have been doing usual free bingo - ooh! yeah! not sure if i mentioned i won another £10 :j:j:j
Still no word on my survey money - have been checking for it everyday £40 will make a massive difference for me but am getting the feeling that the longer this goes on the less likely i am to get my money
Have done all the surveys i can but the ones i've managed will only pay out in vouchers which is still fab but won't reduce my bills

So down to almost half of the target i wanted to clear this month and with 11 days left to go - e-bay has not been too good for me this month and i have lost quite a lot of my p/t hours for this month too. MS's also haven't been going too great - either there are none in my area or someone else has already snaffled them.
So:~
1, list on e-bay for 7days
2, wages due in that i am owed - may not get it all this month but what i do get will be towards this target
3, a bit of p/t work but only a very little bit due in
4, have 2wks of grocery shopping to do - freezer is packed but need some tinned stuff and fresh things so may not be as cheap a shop as i'd hoped
5, definitely the overdue survey money will really help
And am open to any more suggestionsCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey Everyone,
Gosh - i really shouldn't be so cheery when everyone else is working a nice short week and i have to work my usual shift - probably won't be in this happy mood come Thursday evening i can tell you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I think what i'll need to do is book myself that little catch up day i was talking about
So today has been a lazy start to the day for me. I am at the docs for 2 appointments tomorrow  not looking forward to it and have been putting it off for ages but i will drag myself in there - appointments are 1hr apart and no point coming home inbetween times so i'll just have to remember to pack my knitting - or maybe a book - it isn't the freshest of smelling places to sit and wait  i could knit in the car but i'll miss my appointment if i get called in early hmm... Or i could use that time to cobble a bit more of 'The Plan of May and Target 2' together
I did not sleep well last night and have been lucky, in a way, that there was no p/t work today but i am going to have to start learning to switch off more. Sometimes i'm awake worrying and other times i'll be thinking, ' so if that money from cashback comes through that'll be £x and what with surveys there'll be another £x and so on'
Ok thats decided it then, on the train to work today i'll focus on 'The Plan of May and Target 2'at least once i've got my thoughts out of my head and onto paper they'll hopefully quieten down a bit and leave room for some fresh ideas
At lunch i have to go to the bank and the shop (checking for bargains) and i also want to work on a job application - hope they are faster than the 40minutes queuing time they took last time i was there  - i'll start work on the application once i arrive at work as i am usually in a bit earlier. Tomorrow i can finish and submit the application - everyone positive vibes and fingers crossed for me pleaseMy money will be the same - may even be a bit less
but i will feel million times better in myself and that is the main thing
Have done a couple of surveys this morning and chased again for the £40 - again positive thoughts my way please
1 free bingo done - will have to do the other one later.
Hope its a good Tuesday for everyone:D:D
