    Hiya everyone :D

Beanie and Dragon thank you for your posts - Dragon didn't notice anything with your typing but hope your hand is ok? Really pleased top returned and was completely hassle free refund :T:T:T Probably a good thing that i had the worry with the top though as it'll make me think twice about buying something on the spur of the moment like that :o;)

So a higgledy-piggledy update from my weekend!

Saturday I think i said i'd get carboot stuff sorted over a couple of hours - 6 hours later i got back home :eek::eek: in this time though i'd managed to get all carboot stuff organised and loaded up ready for the morning - which included several tea-breaks ;) I also helped my friend to organise her cupboards, wardrobes and drawers and had another cuppa ;) By the time I got home i was ready for a shower, tea and a movie :D

Sunday was a very early start. Really, really pleased though :D Sold lots of things - and now have a bag for charity to drop off later in the week. Wasn't too much that didn't sell which was a big worry in case i had to load it all up and bring it home again. The lovely weather definitely helped and we got invited to a bbq which was great as meant i could catch up with everyone and with the added bonus that i didn't have to cook when i got home :T:T:T

Subsequently was very tired when i got home and promptly nodded off far easier than i have done in a long time. Was a late start this morning but i probably needed it. I now have to catch up on all the jobs i would normally do at the weekend :eek::eek:

Currently have 2nd load of washing on and 1st load drying ;)

Pots need washing, potatoes planting, rescue basil...

Jwil - yep - those were my sentiments exactly about the woman in our garden.

Have been keeping up with scanning, bingo and surveys although i missed 1 bingo yesterday due to not being home for enough waking hours for this.

I've chased £40 survey which hasn't paid out as yet - really hope this comes through soon :o

Groceries so far this week = £5.62 = 2 big cuts of meat = 4 meals and cake :j:j:j

Right, now need to take out dried washing start pots and start next lot of washing into dryer

Be back tomorrow to update some more xx

What a good result from the car boot - not just in terms of £££ but in terms of clutter leaving the house forever :T

And as you say, the incident with the potential non-refund on the top has made you think a little, so all good there too, in more ways than one!

    Hi All

Hypno - thanks for 'popping by' and for your words of encouragement :D Really pleased with the carboot but now a little disappointed i don't have anything to do another carboot with :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Based on the monies i was hoping to raise and the ideas i had come up with am still needing £100 from e-bay - sold 1 small item so best get listing methinks, have not picked up the mystery shops i was hoping for - am either missing them or they aren't available in my area :( no response from the survey site where i've not received funds - will check again tomorrow and then chase this again - not sure if the e-mail sent properly.

Car has to go to garage in the morning :( which reminds me it'll be an early start double :eek: positive vibes that there will be no repair costs please peeps - absolutely something i could do without.

In other news am still searching for a new job - really need to be doing something which i enjoy and where i can have a bit of a life outside of work rather than spending hours travelling to and fro. - Wouldn't mind this if i enjoyed the work.

    Hi All

yawn! tired :o work is particularly bleurgh! right now, so think this is leaving me feel more tired as the day just seems so much longer :( i will find a job where i can be a happy bunny and feel fulfilled :) other than the stressed out me who wonders why i am doing this job :(

Think i need to take a day soon just to get organised - make lots of meals such as chilli etc and portion it individually so i can at least eat a little better rather than toast, toast, toast which can't be helping with how i'm feeling overall :o and also the day will give me the time to do that final push of clearing items into permanent places - have paperwork from MS's for last year to double check before storage and other bits and pieces :o Ok so there's a plan - am owed some hours hols from work - will see tomorrow what day i can take just for me and request the time ;) Good!

Car went to garage and has to go back again :eek::eek: its also the time i have to spend taking it thats hard.

    Done 2 x free bingo
    survey
chased payment from survey site again
technically NSD as only spends were essential groceries - go to a couple of stores for cheapest products ;)

Am keeping with this day by day update at the end of the month i can see what worked well and posting it every day keeps me motivated as during the day i'm thinking ' right where can i get an extra few pounds from to pay off today? :T

Oh, almost forgot - inevitably got several of my p/t hours cancelled this month - glad i know i'm not needed in advance, its just due to easter which i didn't think about :(

Well done on the car boot sale, you did really well!

You're doing brilliantly with reducing the credit card, leaving me shamefully behind. :o

Shame about your p/t hours being cut though.

    Hi All

Didn't get to book the extra 'catch-up' day off as yet - will look to squeeze that in when i'm next in work though. Even so, doesn't mean i can't crack on with a good few things this week :D I won't get any extra time off at easter :( or the week after when there is an extra bank hol for some places so I need to have the time to do this.

No reply to the 3 e-mails i've sent about my survey money - will have to try again next week - giving them a chance to reply first :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Car back to garage tomorrow, grocery shopping and i'm going to be trying out a new recipe over the weekend :T:T:T and will be going out with OH for a meal over the weekend too :D This hasn't been budgeted for but it is important for us to have this quality time together catching up out of the home and with our gladrags on ;)

Must admit i caught sight of myself in the mirror the other day whilst getting changed and :eek::eek: now, if i had the money i'd be a the gym i can tell you :o too expensive though and i seem to have no spare hours in the day.

Am trying to keep a positive, happy focus at the mo. - can be tough when you arrive home from work to find that the people who live several doors away have parked in front of your house rather than theirs. Have to tell myself in the big scheme of things this isn't the most important thing to get worked up over - it just seems really bad mannered :o
