  • So back to the money ;)

Had the majority of my sales end on the bay of e yesterday. Had to start 2 NPBs from the other week

Decided to cancel an appointment to save the money, got some money in from elsewhere too and if everyone pays up on the bay of e and the postage is not too far out then i am 71.5% of the way towards holiday spends target - still a fair bit short so hoping for some more sales and also for another free listing weekend

In other news totally feel like i have the flu woke up feeling very achey and not myself :( Probably need to get some decongestant stuff but don't know if i can be bothered going to the chemist and spending money when it might all just go away again by tomorrow ? See how i go on i think and then decide - i don't like to take tablets unnecessarily :o

Already counting down towards the weekend although i need to start doing more in my working days so that i don't feel like its just work all the time. *If* i feel any better tomorrow then i'll start with a run and some writing before going to the post office with my parcels. - I will report on the progress here.

I *do* need to have other things going on in my life too especially as i am so annoyed still from the other day :o I need to do things that are just for me and these are those things. The frightful image of me emerging from the shower the other day (glimpsed in the mirror) has made me realise i can put off the exercise no longer - bad leg / hip or not! ( and not to worry if it gets really bad then maybe the doctor will actually try and fix it rather than throwing a load of painkillers my way ;)).

The writing is something i *have* to do for me - it is a long neglected passion which has been pushed to the back of the queue as other people, bills and the usual houshold chores have instead played on my mind so much that i have not had the head space to think clearly enough. The running should have a good knock on effect here with the head space ;) Now the bills have been paid down alot and the house is in a little better order and because i am going to put me first alot more over other people then this is important to me and will get done :T

The terrible weather woke me up last night  i have noticed it is getting alot cooler and admit to switching the heating on for about 10minutes yesterday - more to do with my irrational fear that it hadn't been on for months and would it work ok ? It did thankfully and i checked the radiator that had been removed a couple of times when the work was being done here. If the bad weather is coming i am not sure if i should be cheering in the frost to help tackle the absolute overgrown garden of weeds that the sun and rain have encouraged :o and my lack of time hasn't allowed me to tackle :o Or if i should be strict with myself and get out there early on saturday morning for an hour, after a run so that i can start reclaiming the space ?

Hope all of you are well and thank you for bearing with me when in all honesty i have not even been company for myself :o

  • So total debt now stands at £1030 (not including the mortgage ) and i needs me a plan to get rid of this. I did think i'd struggle to overpay on it this month and when i realised the car tax was due, got the insurance reminder and then had to come up with money for meal out with friends, birthday meal and holiday spends this went way over anything i had leftover from wages after bills.

I am just trying to get to the end of this month without dipping back into the overdraft :o

Once we get to October i'll then put a plan in place for clearing the debt - will be along the lines of £x from wages october £x from wages november £x hope to raise from bay of e sales ;) So i will have a plan and i will get this debt paid but i just need to wait a couple of weeks before i put any plan in place so i know where i am with everything and the plan will then make sense - at least to me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Of course along with all of this is the need to rmember that the MOT is due - there are still a few significant birthdays coming up - not to mention xmas is on the horizon  All things that need paying for - i have alot sorted for xmas but its mainly things for close family members that i have to leave until the last minute - will try and work out what i can get them that they will like and will be useful hmm...

Sadly right now work is on the horizon so i will see you all tomorrow x

Look after yourself DDFW and you know where I am.

Ebayers are a PITA sometimes. We just have to try and remember that most sales go very well. Hope you get some good ones.

I've had loads of NPBs recently  I don't wait though - they get a reminder invoice day 3, and then I open a case day 4 or 5. They still have 4 days to pay then, and that is plenty long enough. If someone contacts me then that's fine, but if they don't, I don't hang around. I want my stuff sold, and that means being able to relist it.

£1030 is not a lot really - I'm sure it'll be gone in no time! :D

And, make sure you are taking care of yourself x

  • Well, i would really like to say that i didn't check in earlier as i was packing more into my day but in all honesty it just didn't happen :o

Think i may been having panic attacks :o - though i've never discussed this with a doctor or anyone else so i could be completely wrong. I had quite a severe one last night - i wasn't quite fully awake to start with and then i started to worry about something - what woke me up fully was the way my heart was pounding so fast and so strongly in my chest (i was really frightened by this ) - it was so strong it was either making my whole body shake / shudder or this was another symptom ? there were other symptoms but these were the most scary :o

So i was in no state to go running when it was time to get up :(

I did do something productive with my time this morning though and that was to sketch out a rough plan for my money for the end of the year whats needed where and what not. (it wasn't the debt per se that i was worrying about by the by)

  • Quarter 4 Money Plan - ish ;)

First of all I had to look at the remaining 3 months of the year and think about what it was i had to pay out for over this time (over and above set outgoings)

Extra outgoings for oct - dec are:- holiday spending money ( the one i'm scrabbling pennies together for now)
    MOT
    Xmas
Birthdays - meals out & gifts

As long as the MOT comes in on budget and there are no other unexpected expenses and i don't go and have a massive blow out spending money to try and cheer myself up :o Then... I need to aim to raise between £200 - £400 extra to clear the remaining debt balance in november.

So that'll be me on the bay of e again then - already decided on a couple of bits to list, and of course i'll have the re-lists too. Need to sort out alot of stuff then and give a big push. Maybe a challenge jwil if you fancy it ? Sorry i was such a let down last time :o xx

The more the merrier SF :D Think i may aim for 40  newly listed items - this is what i got on the last free listing and sales did quite well - i know it depends on whats being listed too but i think the more there is on there the more chance i have of making some pennies ;)
