Good luck with the coming week - I'm interested to know how your plans pan out.
Thanks P&F
I am thinking of tweaking my plans a bit this week, there are a few reasons for this, firstly i spent £69 on the new clothes and bag (the bag being the most expensive purchase) Now if i go to the library as planned its going to cost me an extra £56 in travel costs each month *gulp* i know, i did know it would cost more and this is also at the cheapest travel rate possible without paying for a massive priced yearly ticket - which i can't afford (over £1000) and may end up being no good if i do get a new job. So by not heading off to the library i can do some damage limitation on the spending front.
The other thing is when i was in the library i didn't see anyone having a snack or a cuppa :coffee: :shhh: and also in the library it is of course very restrictive on the pattern of study where you study for x minutes then get up and do something (ie at home move the laundry etc.) then study again then have a cuppa or biscuit for a bit of energy etc.
Then on top of that i'll be adding an extra 45minutes travel time onto my day - the extra time to get to the library then from the library to the gym and finally gym to work.
So, I am going to be *very* strict with myselfAND get up early - do my necessary packed lunch, bag for work, check banking and then set the timer and start writing
I will report back on how this goes
i'll then catch the slightly later train but earlier than my usual one to head to the gym :j
The beauty with this is as well that as i'm cutting out alot of the extra travel time and starting studying early if i need to go the post office i'll just have to get up earlier to still get 2 hours of writing in :T
I will report back with how i'm doing and if it seems i'm not doing as well as i should be and being distracted by non-urgent stuff then i'll be off to the library
Still pleased that i joined the library though
How are things with you p&f ? I hope work is busy for you and hope mr p&f finds work soon too xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

DH is really sensible with money and never really buys anything either, which doesn't help my case! :rotfl:
Ah I see - he practises what he preaches, which is a good thing.
It was just when you said it I thought, 'hold on' but now I see you are saving for something specific and he is just keeping you on the straight and narrow.
I'm rather rubbish with money so maybe I could have done with someone telling me what to do with my own money - after all (as you can see from my sig) I haven't exactly done a brilliant job so far.0 -

It's a complicated process for you to sort out your life. I know very well how easy it is to be distracted at home though. Hope it all works out for you.
Things are the usual here, I have a bit of work, not enough. OH still no sign but something has to happen soon!0 -

I have got some writing done already :T - getting into the mindset of getting up at the time i would need to to catch the train as if i end up going to the library i will need to make sure i am in the routine of early starts
Have checked banking - nothing fun happening there. Think if i pay another £10 off target 6 today then i move another %age so will try and get that out later.
I also need to go over my monthly figures, my debt money i'll need to use towards spends for the holiday now so will see if there is anything left to throw at the debts - no news on my MS money as yet - probably another month before i get that back which is making things even more tight :eek:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
