Hey all, electrickery is off whilst some work is done so i am on my phone. This month has pretty much gotten away from me. I suddenly realised after reading jwils thread that i can,t list any more items for sale as i,ll be away when they end / go over posting timescales. My ambitious target of £1000 this month is looking like it won,t be achieved. More worrying is that i may not even clear target 6 this month.
Hoping for minimal spending on shopping later but there is a fair bit of essentials needed - suugar, loo roll, kitchen roll, foil, toothpaste and the like. Not to mention fresh food so i,m unsure how successful this will be.
Embarassingly hoping for minimal spends on the £100 budget for birthday as well. Will see how that goes. I was hoping to get a couple of items repaired too as i can,t use them whilst they,re broke but that would come out of this budget too. Oh and i very likely need a case of a size that no-one has for me to borrow so that will involve spending as well.
£220 to go, getting 10 extra today & the 7 book money soon so i,ll round that up which still leaves 200 to sort out. Lets hope some of my listed items sell!CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi all
It feels like i have not been here for longer than days! So where have i been and what have i been up to ?
Well i have been reading when i can but have not had much chance to post and i have to ask myself why?
Well i had the family birthday i mentioned - i *know* £100 seems a big budget but when you take into account where we went for the meal, and of course there were drinks too and then i hadn't got a present i actually came in within budget and used the 'change' to get a couple of essentials i couldn't put off any longer - maybe i'm not as frugal as i could be but there is only so long that some things can be put off being replaced i think - so there was no spare money here for the debt
I've also not been feeling 100% and have been so exhausted again of late but thats not it either.
So i *think* i've gotten into one of those despondent moods about the debtwhere nothing seems to be happening fast and the daily habit of saying 'no' to things such as going for a coffee (to a coffee shop) or going out to lunch because the weather is gorgeous and it'll feel like i'm on holiday
etc. etc. is all getting to me
I've also had someone leave me negative feedback when they meant to leave positive  i know this as they added a note to say oops i meant positive - still it managed to scupper my rating and i missed out on the FLW - had a peak around the site to see how i get this changed and i have no idea how to doI also hadn't realised about this and just did a massive re-list and only knew something was amiss when i got charged for all my items  Pretty annoyed actually as it cost me more to re-list everything than i made on the item the person bought so that means unless i sell something then i am out of pocket
I managed to make an extra payment by spending less on the shoppingand then i got all confused and took too much out of the bank so just paid that as well and then today i scrabbled another £10 together. I'll be happy if i can get this £145 paid off before the end of the month but i am not due any money from anywhere to make this possible - i really need to sort out where i can get extra funds coming in from  Any ideas send them this way please

Morning All!
had so many urgent things to do today i think its best to introduce the structured for me days after my holibobs - the break will be good from the current routine and then when i come back i should be fresh and ready to goPlus the house may be less building site by then too
Had so many urgent calls to make so have been getting on with that - got somewhere with one of them - the other 2 i'm still trying Grr!
The good news is :- i checked when i should be re-imbursed for my big spend MS so have an idea when that is due now
I worked out how to get my negative feedback amended :T
I checked my banking and will withdraw £30 today to current target- really hope my sums are right
I also managed to check what that *essential* spending was - i got some printer cartridges - reduced by 75% and much needed :T i got some toiletries - reduced by over 90%!!! ok, not essential right now but what a saving and its something i use all the time so will definitely be usedi got some socks - essential for my hols and i got the actual case for my hols too
So all good stuff
and the case was in the sale as well

Thanks hon - the hols is much needed
Erm bargainsi *think* its a symptom of shopping so much
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Seriously though if its something i need / use i tend to know the cost of things and have learnt to pick up some types of bargains when i see them otherwise i'll miss out
I do lurve my case - it was just £5 more than the super low budget i had set for myself but it is so stylish :T:T:T - a real bargain for definite though as the size i needed all started at £50  and i got mine for half of that :j
negative feedback all solved :T
But *grump grump grump* i am getting negative feedback on postage and packing  Its so annoying the only thing i've messed up on price is where i've left myself out of pocket. I can only assume the rating on this is the parcels where people expect me to provide the packaging free on the 49p or 99p items i'm selling  as in if its £2.20 postage thats what they want to pay - not a bit extra for bubble wrap and parcelling - definitely not something i profit on eitherCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Morning Everyone
I have now been to 3 cash machines to try and get the money out to pay towards target 6 and all the cash machines have had some sort of fault ! I'll try another one later - today i'll be taking out £50 to pay towards current target as i was already getting £30 and i've had a couple of small bay of e sales and payments
I also got an amaz*n voucher today - sadly its not cash to pay to the debt but of course it is still useful.
With todays £50 that leaves me with £95 to clear on this target  But i don't think if i get any more sales or outstanding payments that the money will be in my account fast enough  Which means clearing this debt will roll over into next month as wellPlus i haven't got £95 of outstanding payments to come in anyways.
I have been good today though as i was going to buy lunch having no sarnie stuff in but instead i am going to cook something and pop it into my little food flask which has been proving useful and a good investment with my last lot of amaz*n vouchers
I also feel my birthday is looming large  its in september and i declared my intention to be debt free by then so the time is running out to get everything paid off in full  I can only try my best!
Hope everyone is well - and it is wednesday peoplethe happy middle of the week
now roll on friday i say

I guess I tend to avoid shops so wouldn't see the bargains. It's great though :T
Glad you've sorted out the negative too :T
I generally only charge actual postage or offer free postage on things. People are so fussy out there, it's silly. With the free postage I include extra for packaging, so it all adds up eventually."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done on clearing some more! You are doing so well, and even if you don't quite make your birthday, you won't be far off.
Well done on making lunch too! I've actually managed it today as well :T
Yay to amazon vouchers as well. You could always buy something with it and sell it on ebay to convert it to cash if you really wanted to."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
