In this few hours in the morning then i will be doing what i want to do and hopefully start to feel better for it and also see the benefits from it too
The major challenge is of course the early starts - battling with exhaustion does not help with this at all
It's a tough challenge but an excellent one - I think it will give you more of a feeling of control over your days and hopefully it will help to battle the exhaustion.
Good luck with it. :j0 -
Hope your new challenge is going well DDFW"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi Guys - the new challenge has had to be postponed until next week - i had bay of e parcels to get to the post office (none near my work) AND i got an MS that i have been after for over a year :j:j:j so i have had to do quite a bit of prep for that as i have not done any work for this company and have had alot to sort out - hoping this will lead onto more work for them so definitely the right decision to do this
and of course the gym and library will still be there next week
Doing the actual MS tomorrow - little bit nervy as not done any MSs for months and also with wanting to do this job and work for this company - i just need to remember that i have done lots of MSs - oh yes and also to remember the million things i need to for my report
Bay of e sales were from last week and as i say i got most things put back on at the price they are going on the carboot for if they don't sell so we will see how these go on - all seems very quiet but they are things that have been re-listed a fair few times and they don't end for a few days yet so may well get last minute sales.
I will of course need to factor in the post office trips as well as getting to the library etc. i wonder if saying i'll post within 5 working days of cleared payment is too long a timescale ?? Hmm...
I have been wondering how ebayqueen is getting on, i haven't seen her on the boards for a while, hope she is ok - maybe just taking a break from the site as i think we all do on occasion.
So i've still got £570 to find... hoping for a bit of cashback but really need sales on the bay of e and need to find stuff to list at a higher value than it is now :eek:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Well done on the mystery shop! Hope it goes well.
I personally think that 5 days is too long to post, and as a buyer would avoid a seller with that if I could. However, there are plenty of people that do successfully post within that timescale so it's up to you.
I've also been wondering about ebayqueen. Hope she's ok."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Good luck with the MS and your ebay sales. I agree with Jwil that 5 days seems a long time, though you might get away with it if you were not charging for P&P.
As a completely irrelevant aside, I have just removed a dead mouse from the attic and a dead rat from beside the compost heap - oh, the glamour!0 -

Hi guys - still awaiting getting the results in on my MS - and it was a huge outlay moneywise  so a bit nervy at the mo.
Thanks for the confirmation on the postage - i thought 5 days was too long too and was good to get that confirmed as well

Hey everyone - feels like its been a while since i've been able to update - so where am i up to ?
I have been spendy spendy spendy but lets try and get everything in order
So i have been working all week ehich has been hugely hard and challenging and not in a good wayhey ho!
So although i was mahoosively tired last week and very anxious about my MS - it was a big spend and i also wanted to do well and the first job i had been accepted for by this company - i headed off and got it doneBit anxious as i'm still awaiting the feedback and hoping it all goes ok as i obviously need the payment but its done now so we will see
So the MS was quite spendy but a necessary part of the job - still it is hard just spending that amount
I also did the grocery shopping which was more expensive than i expected  - it was just a basic shop and i feel it is just a real reflection of the cost of things now - so nothing really to pull myself up on there.
Me and my Mr also went out and did a spot of shopping and had a little lunch date :smileyhea I bought:o in the sales
a new bag (less than half price), a new dress 1/3 of the price, some new tights (essential purchase - mine are all ruined - sadly full price), a new top (less than 1/2 price), a little sweater (less than half price) and then my contribution to lunch and the car needed petrol :eek::eek: Told you it was spendy
i then had to work the weekend
and i still squoze in the carbooty (low cost spending on luscious items this weekend
)
I also crammed into the evenings a couple of cocktails and then on another night a meal out and cocktails again  1 i had to pay for and the other i was treated toSo alot of planning to allow work to drinks to work to meal & drinks to run smoothly.
I forgot to say i also darted out and joined the library ready for this weekSo a very packed weekend ahead!
No more money paid off debts - partly because of the massive MS spend and partly because the cash machine was broken when i went to use it today. However i'm expecting a small amount of cashback to be paid and i had quite a few small value sales - so a bit of money coming in and alot of stuff going out and clearing space so really not all bad
Next week will be a full week in work along with gym, library, birthday party (not mine but need to do some prep for this) along with all usual running of house stuff, appointment, booking of another appointment and i need to check where i'm up to on my monthly target
I was chatting to someone i know who said they have been getting into a routine of late nights and early starts and it was really hard and exhausting at first and then it started to get easier - fills me with a tad of optimism for the coming week
Hope everyone else has had a good weekendCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Especially as he p****s a fortune down the toilets of the local pub. Oops, sounding a bit bitter there.
Seriously though, SF, are you not allowed to decide what you spend money on, assuming you have some money at your disposal? Does your DH never spend money on 'wants' rather than 'needs'?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
