Well its been productive so far although i did get a little tired earlier :o also was good having breaks at home as things got done! A great motivator having such limited time to do things :D I'll see how this pans out tomorrow too :) Unable to plan anymore on my list as i've to dash off to work now (bleurgh!) but i think it helps for me to jot in the dates i plan on getting stuff done rather than me just carrying that info. around in my head ;)

I've also kept a log so i know just how productive i've been :D Fingers crossed this keeps up - daving £50+ a month will be great for me :)

Hope everyone has a good day shhh I'm already counting down to the weekend :)

    ** and breathe **

just got off the phone to the mortgage company :mad::mad: Apparently they can't tell me why i have been misinformed about my balance both today and the last time i rang them :mad::mad: Obviously there is nothing i can do about it now. I will simply have to wait until next month and ring up and ask for an up to date balance then and compare it against todays figure which the person i was passed to after i raised the query ensured me was the correct amount and see if there is any flipping difference then. Do they have no understanding of the fact that i am paying them a fortune each month due to their high interest rates and do not appreciate being told that my balance has gone down by about 2p!!!! !!!!!!! Yes it is a repayment mortgage and of course if i could get a mortgage elsewhere i would, but i can't so i'm stuck :( Oh and the statements which i used to receive regularly so i could check things are now being sent out annually!!! Muppets!

The positive from all this is that it has spurred me on to keep a closer eye on the balance and make sure it is reducing as they assure me it () and also more determined than ever to get the balance paid off. In fact once i get it to an amount where somewhere else can offer me a mortgage then of course i'll leave them.

So i (again) intend to clear out even more stuff to raise money and get these debts paid and then i can tackle the mortgage!

I got a few more bits on the bay of e which is good as i edge clowly towards my 100 items target. I've put some money to one side for holiday spends - taking less than i would do normally and i'm also trying to spend less than that as well ;)

Also trying to spend less on the significant birthday which i've put £100 to one side for,

it does mean the spends + £100 would have gone off debt but of course this can't be helped. Again i'll be trying to spend less than the £100.

    Hope everyone is well x

Thanks SF - encouraged by you i am returning a sale item i have bought - the refund anticipated has already been paid to current target :D

I've also requested a few pounds due to me from selling books :) will pay off current target once received :)

I've also chased 1 lot of cashback - it has been 4 months!! and its worth about £25 to me.

And i've found my other cashback will be paid on the next payout so next month i expect :)£60

I reached target for payout on *nepoll £40 again i expect this next month.

And i reached payout for an amaz*n voucher £20 :)

Next Months debt repayment target is £1500 :eek::eek: so thats £100, already sorted, + £40 expected from work, + £430, usual overpayment available = £570 already so that leaves me £930 to raise as extra, will try for £30 by cutting down on the food shop and the remaining will be sell, sell, sell

Well done on everything you've achieved, and a great start for next month! :T

Grr to the mortgage. I've never had one that sends anything other than annual statements, so I've always followed my balance on my credit report. Noddle is free to access and shows everything on mine, though it's not always quick to update.

    Hey hon!

i'm not too bothered about not getting the mortgage statements so regularly - more that i was given the wrong details leaving me completely stressed as to why the hundreds of pounds (minimum payment) they are receiving is not reducung what i owe. I then felt i couldn't trust what any of them said so just felt at least if they were still sending paper copies i could check for myself. May have to look at noddle

Yes, it's definitely annoying when they give out the wrong figures. Hope they get themselves organised a bit more!
