You've done really well DDFW, and great news about the OU payment finishing.
Your new plan sounds good too. I have a netbook but got it at a car booty so didn't really think too much about it. One thing I would say is go for one with windows on if you want to use a dongle with it. Mine runs on ubuntu and so is not compatible. It means I can only get online when I can get on a wireless signal."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hey jwil - thank you for the advice
I obviously have no money for a netbook just now either but i am looking for advice then if something comes up at least i know something about it rather than nothing
Plus if i know what i'm looking for i can start searching out the prices for these as well so i know what i'm aiming towards
I'm off to bed now and haven't achieved alot fo what i wanted to do tonight - i have a very upset stomach now though which makes it hard to do stuff. I have moved 1 lot of things and i did try the clothes on - huge dilemma that i think i really like them especially as the clothes actually fit me- a big difference to trying to zip something up that won't budge  or wearing something too tight  or as i say my usual clothing of leggings and a baggy top to try and hide under
I did say though that if i do keep them, its not the end of the world as the jeans and pants i got all 3 for less than the full price of 1 pair so that is a good bargain and i know they'll get worn as they fit - pondering indeed!
Right definitely, definitely bed time! I am so looking forward to the weekend!! Not that i am doing anything exciting and the weather is supposed to be carp too but i just want it to be the weekend already!
Oh i have kept up with the job hunt too - there will be a fab job for me that i will get, there will be a fab job for me that i will get...CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

To be honest if i kept them all i'm not going to be too fussed about spending £50 on things that will make 3 outfits and that i'll actually have something that fits me rather than the leggings baggy top combo i have been in for months now. And its only been possible as i'm no longer paying the £90 repayment for my course. Of course that doesn't mean i can spend like this every month either.
It sounds to me like you've made a very sensible investment in clothes and I really hope you are happy with them. :beer:0 -
Going back a few days with your diary here.
Yours lists are off the scale mad !! In a good way, but OMG they are long !! Please dont put yourself under too much pressure to achieve everything and stress yourself out even more !
Next, you are allowed to grumble, you have seen my diary , lots of grumbling at times !! Funnily enough though, I decided my diary was sounding far to grumbly for my liking this morning so have decided to try and brighten up a bit.:D
Re the commute and grumpy people. You have my full sympathy. I rarely do the commute now thank goodness, but I did ,for far too many years and it is exhausting and miserable. I also had to deal with the public who can be downright rude and having to keep happy and smiley each and every day is also exhausting in itself, especially when all you really want to do is scream and shout at them !!
What else ? Netbooks, dont know much about them I'm afraid, but when you do manage to save for an Ipad ( have you looked on ebay or the Apple Recon site ?) I have an amazing little keyboard that plugs into it and if you have alot to write it makes it so much easier. I love it and would hate to be without it . I am lucky to have the ipad I know, its an absolute god send for work !! Mr Pinot is usually quite good at Netbook, Computer type things ,so if I remember I will ask him if he knows of a good one whilst you are saving.
What do you do job wise ? Can you say, just interested really. No worries if you dont answer that one, I dont on my diary either for fear of being discovered !!!
Anyway, I am hoping that your tummy is feeling better and that you have a good day .
I will leave you alone now !! Byee xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Morning All!
Made myself stay in bed this morning - could still be there now actually but *had* to get up for work. Of course i will now have a lot! to do tonight when i get in and will no doubt have to get up early in the morning to finish off too - but i feel a little more human after resting and that is the main thing!
Yes pinot it is the ipad and keyboard that i would want - i'd probably have to get both at the same time to be honest but unfortunately i just cannot justify this at the moment with the level of debt i haveThank you for the input
And the lists - its to give me focus otherwise i would just allow myself to keep resting as i am so exhausted all the time. But i am a happier person if i do something for me in the day rather that work / sleep / work / sleep that i had been doing. Apparently my medication levels are correct so i am well according to the doctor and though i am so exhausted they recommended daily exercise and assure me i won't collapse  Jobwise i can't say really on here as you say this coupled with other things would make me too identifiable to people i know. I am looking for a new job in a different field though.
P&F it was so lovely to put something on that fit me!!! :j:j:j And of course i really like them as i had picked them up in the shop - to be honest i could not be bothered trying them on so i made sure i could return them and intended to return 2 pairs but all 3 are fab and very different to each other so i will get plenty of wear out of them tooMy problem in the past has been i spent money on dressy things to go out to stuff and just struggled to do casual very well
At home i just have my pjs on - something else i'm trying to change as i think getting up and dressed puts you in the mindframe for getting things done!
Hope everyone is wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I would love an iPad too - but DH won't let me get one as I don't need oneBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Glad the clothes fitted well :T
Glad you also had a lie in this morning too, sometimes you've just got to listen to your body and it sounds like you needed it.
Only one more day to go til the weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
SF - my fella also says i don't need it - and he thinks he gets a say on what i spend my money on - our finances aren't shared and it can really wind me up when he comments on what i choose to spend my money on He spends way more on clothes and shoes and facial creams and going out than me and i never comment as its his money GrrSomeNess!!
Jwil - ta hon - but i have a stupidly hectic weekend trying to get the job put right that was messed up so i don't foresee much resting againCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Ok people i said i would not moan but i might just explode if i don't get this out of my system and so, i won't bore you all with the details but will say i have had an absolutely carp week in work this week. I did think today would it be possible to gain access to the top of the building where no-one else would be so i could just scream without anyone witnessing / hearing ? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Of course instead i just had to plod on. *and breathe*

I have decided to give my new plan a try - which i will start next week and see how i go on
I of course don't have an ipad etc. but a good old fashioned pen and paper will do for now.
I feel much better for this plan which will at least give me some life and some of the things i want for myself in it - the early starts will of course be tough but i can only try and see how i go onCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
