A very quick post on my small steps:
started spending diary
Completed free bingo
selected a few more things for ebay still at 17/100 listed, will do more this week
sold a couple of small items on e-bay though these haven't been paid for yet
joined a new survey site
In other positive news Dreaded task completed :jLots of college work to do so just having a quick check for MS's and then its an early alarm call for tomorrow
Think I'll do a wardrobe inventory later in the week too to help me see where my surplus items are - I know the excitement is amazing :rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
The small steps continue: -
currently doing my free bingo which is playing up a bit ?
sold a couple of things last night - will package these later if people pay for things.
transferred a few pounds from paypal to my bank a/c to start trying to make up the deficit
applied and got accepted for a credit card which has interest free on balance transfers - will only believe it once I have the card though. It won't be enough to transfer all my debt to but my aim will be to transfer everything I can off my highest balance card to this and then throw everything at the remaining balance as this has the highest interest.
changed the dates of a couple of MS's as I don't have the money for the purchases todayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Oh sorry to hear about the hefty bill DDFW, ((hugs)), it always seems to come at once doesn't it. With your dedication though, I know you'll be able to get there.
Well done on getting the balance transfer though, I was the same as you until mine arrived!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all am awaiting impatiently for the arrival of my card with lovely 0% goodness
so hope it comes.
In the meantime it is small steps. So todays have been:
MS
NSD apart from this and necessary travel costs
free bingo
picked out a couple more things ready to list on e-bay this weekend
got bids on a couple of e-bay items
re-listed a couple of unsold items
Quidco payment came in and transferred straight off target 1 :j

So will keep transferring all bits of extra money which I receive - should have some paypal money in tomorrow from e-bay sales last week :j only a few pounds but it is reducing the debt especially if I transfer this straight away. It keeps me motivated too
This weekend I have a few jobs to get on with and will update my resolutions so i can review where I am up to with theseMain job will be listing all the e-bay things I've lifted out since Sunday and re-listing all unsold items but probably change listings on one or two so it'll be a little more time consuming.
Off to bed now, night everyone xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi Pickle,
Although it took me a while at the weekend to list things it was mainly the finding things to list that was slow going I'm usually quite quick at getting stuff listed as I just stick to a routine
So small steps from yesterday update
Completed MS report which I should have done day before Oops!
Picked up 5 MS's :j:j:j
Lifted out something else for e-bay
Did p/t work
f/t work
In a way was NSD as spends were all from budgets if that makes sense? e.g. picked up a bit of food shopping out of food budget
Free bingo done
Transferred e-bay money off Target 1CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi all,
Yesterday seems to have been a blur of activity but also a day where I did not achieve everything i wanted to
Small steps yesterday: -
Spent more than I wanted to on food shoppong but kept this within budget still
Wrote up a MS from the day before
Completed 2 MS.
2 lots of free bingo
I also had a small meeting about p/t work which took up part of my day. I made tea, washed pots, oh and purchased a few bits in the 90% off section at boots - think my spend in this area was £3.00 for well £30 worth of things
2 lots of washing done
2 lots of washing dried
2 lots of washing moved
So today sees me with quite alot to achieve:
2 MS's to write up (from yesterday)
2 MS's to do today
2 MS's to write up for these
Reply to all e-bay enquiries
List further 11 items on e-bay - haven't found 100 things:o but will aim for this as this months target :j
Try and persuade OH to make tea
Wash more pots
Complete next part of study for course
Shop around for home insurance
Shop around for car insurance
Make a payment to a balance
2 lots of free bingo
put all receipts in order
I will report back laterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
