Hi All
Pickle - thanks for your fab words of encouragement :j must admit I went back today before I saw your reply and purchased said itemsOk, spent £4 but kinda wish I'd spent this after work - although it wouldn't have been open so this would have been impossible. :rotfl::rotfl: But just had one of those really rotten days at work and if I'd bought them later it would have felt like a comfort purchase and hopefully made me feel better
Although I guess its best not to let my emotions carry me off into the shops - that way overspending lies :rotfl::rotfl:
Ok, where am I up to?
Small Steps: -
Free bingo done
P/t work done
Sadly I have not managed to pick up any new MS's. I have also not listed any new items on e-bay - though one thing I put on at the weekend will be soldCouple of single watchers on other things so fingers crossed
Today, I decluttered the clothes drawer and a few bits have left the house already :j:j I wouldn't say that I'll have got rid of 10 x the amount of the stuff I've noted (every day no matter how much I declutter just gets counted as 1 item a day achieved) by the end of the 12 months but expect I'll have decluttered at least 2x 365 things :j:jCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

2 x 365 things is still good going, I reckon. I'd be delighted to get rid of that many! Please call me 'Pickle'

Thanks Pickle
I think sometimes I tend to look at things and this 'woah I don't have the time to sort all that out' such as a wardrobe or cupboard etc. so was really inspired when I read about the at least 1 item a day thing because I can easily fit that in my day. So far I have done a set of drawers, 1 drawer a day and by doing so much - like the whole drawer rather than the individual storage in it I - have got rid of quite alot already. Unbelievable all these bits of things I just didn't need creating clutter
Today I am going to do the top of the set of drawers - no idea how stuff has ended up being piled up on top of here but it hasso this will be sorted and then it's a whole section of 1 room thoroughly organised. :T:T
Small Steps:-
p/t work
used my boots £5 off vouchers before they expired
1 free bingo done and 1 to go.
Nearly splashed out on goodies whilst shopping but reined myself in :rotfl::rotfl:
Right best crack on with something productive then. College work - finish all the reading I need to do and then maybe some pots to be washed.
Report back laterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi all,
Well my friend was supposed to be coming round but has cancelled and will reschedule for another time. This is fine as I've lots to do for my college course but as I was expecting her earlier I've not really had my study head on
I have however, finished the necessary reading :T
Washed lots of pots - still lots to do mind
Put 1 lot of washing on :A
Also got a wriggle on and decluttered the top of my set of drawersThis unearthed a couple of very little things for the carboot and a small item for e-bay :T
Tomorrow I will do my hat boxes out though I can't think there is alot in there to go. I have a deep love of my hats don't you know :smileyhea:D
Now though is cup of coffee time :coffee: and then on with a bit of writing / planning ready for an early start tomorrow to catch up on today a bit - OopsCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Got some planning done.
A bit confused as to whether the next bit of set reading should be done before this assignment or if its for the next one so going to read this too.
Have dried 1 x washing
2nd lot of washing on
Moved 1 x pots
2nd lot of pots done :A
And, ahem! I can't quite believe it but I have got my 0% offer through :j:j Ok so it doesn't nearly cover all the debt but it definitely helps
Slightly worrying is the number of targets now in my sig, just itching to start crossing these off once and for all. :rotfl::rotfl: Aiming to clear target 1 in March, Target 2 April / May, Target 3 & 4 June/July Then I think target 8.
Ok off to get part of the reading done before I call it a night on the study but have set my trusty alarm for the morning
Oh, got 2nd lot of free bingo done and a few surveys tooCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Crikey Dedicated, you are doing well for yourself, aren't you? :T
Well done on the 0% offer - it makes ALL the difference! :cool:Please call me 'Pickle'

Thanks Pickle
Think I'm going to apply for another 0% card too - if I can find one to apply for. The worst is that they say no and it goes down as a search on my credit file over the next 6 months. Things on 0% so far are: Target 5, Target 7 & 8.
Will need to get myself into gear to raise the money to clear the £1725 next month  My spending diary sort of fell by the waysideThink I need a bigger bag and a smaller book
I do know that I spent £30 on a gift for *whispers it* xmas but as this would have cost me a £100 normally - even this christmas I wanted to get it and there were no reductions - then it's a great bargain and has been crossed off my list of things to find
It does however mean that right now I have £30 less to throw at the debt - it is all this balancing of things.
Right now I have my coffee :coffee:- up later than I wanted to be and am still tired. I am going to have a quick look around here until 9 and then start on my college work until 10.
Plan is:
College work 1 hour
Clean kitchen worktops
If OH is up continue in the declutter (needs to be done as I really need to find some new e-bay items)
Coffee :coffee:
College work
Hope it's a good day for allCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hiya Pickle - am doing literature
Just popped in for part of my break
OH is just up so have him making me my next cuppa as we speak. Will do a bit more college stuff before I get going again with The Great Declutter. Have been doing bingo whilst getting on with study. Its just on in the background, not actually done any of the time consuming part of it as yet - that can wait until i am very tired later methinks.
Also did pots instead of cleaning worktops so revised plan is: -
1 hour study
10 mins declutter
Clean worktops down in kitchen
Breakfast at some point
Study
back to it then xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
