Hi ddfw
Delighted your savings have arrived. This will take a lot of pressure of you. Don't annoy yourself about the ebayers. I would advise you similar to Jwil and if you do refund them when there is no money in your Paypal account it takes a few days for it to come out of your current account.
Sometimes I get down when I there are transactions like this but it all works itself out eventually.
Feeling very very very tired this weekend. Have been so busy with family and ebay. Exhausted is the word to describe me. 'Kids' I use that word loosely as they are bigger than me and 2 can vote for goodness sake, have been hard work this week with exam results etc. So alot of tlc and chat needed up until results issued on Thursday. All went well for them so that is a relief but very draining. Not easy being a parent sometimes and I pity those parents who have problems with their kids. It must be heartbreaking and makes me thankful for the great young people we have.
Today been out to pray and am resting for a while ... on laptop:):)....then cooking for 7 this evening, us 5 plus 2 elderly family members.
Took the plunge and ordered new laptop from Curry's as this one is so very very slow that most days I feel like kicking it. It crashes often and its driving me nuts. Will sell it and list all its faults on ebay next week when I get it wiped of anything remotely personal.
Lots of parcels to post tomorrow and will not be going into nearest larger town again until Thursday ... that's the plan
Hope and pray that I get some energy to do what I have to do today.
Take care DDFW and keep going. Look how far you have come and what you have acheived. You are an inspiration:)

Ebay say that there are only exceptional (and named) circumstances when this is not the case and, basically, it is up to the buyer to prove they meet the criteria. I would, at the very least, make them do some work to prove their case even if you end up subsequently cancelling it due to the hassle factor.
I like reading your diary because you are so inspiring, consistently working very hard. I will disappear back into lurkdom for now!

Hi ebayqueen
Oh exam time and results are always so difficult - lovely you are so supportive though i do understand how draining it can be with the worry and support you are giving - hope you get a good rest after today and get your energy back. Well done to your children on their results too :T:T:T You must be very proud and i am pleased for you tooYour children always sound lovely when you mention them and a real credit to you
It will be nice having all family around for a meal - hopefully you can relax a bit after that and task someone else with the pot washing duties
Its great that you have sold some more things on the bay of e :T I currently have watchers only so we will see how these things go - they are only 99p items after allI have replied to all my messages now - actually did yesterday and not a single response as yet.
Very exciting news on the new laptop :j:j:j - it will make the things you do on the comp so much quicker now as you say
Yes the savings were a real shock coming through like that - as you say a big help but its not sunk in as yet - and i've still a ways to go - pushing myself to clear the debt before my birthday - and then i can start on the mortgage which is on high interest but i can't change it until i either earn more or own more equity.

So since yesterday a couple of people have paid for their items which is good
Today i had set aside my 'spends' money for another carbooty - i was very tired and unsure whether it would be worth making the effort to go. This was a different one to last week and there were more stalls there - maybe 12? Anyways i got quite a good haulwhich i now need to sort out and make some decisions on
Got a big bag of wool - 11 balls for £2 :T already put in my wool basket
A big bag of ribbons and laces £1 :T already put in my materials crafty bag
A box of swarovski crystals £4 :T These are perfect for embellishing clothes or belts / jewellery - but i now need to decide if i should keep them as i won't use them for a while or if i should sell them? Any suggestions welcome
A pair of brand new in box pair of shoes from one of my favourite shops but i can't ever afford the shoes - ok prices range *i think* from £55 - £90 and these were £5 :T And they are gorgeousBut should i keep them? Am i being frivolous with money that could go towards debt?
A new to me dress for £2.50 already cleaned ironed and put awaybut again is it frivolous?
These were all the main interesting bargainsi have a few other bits too
So i spent £15 almost exactly but i am not used to spending on me now that i am umming and ahhing about a few of the items as noted. I know the spends is there so i have control over what i do buy as a treat as it comes out of the spends purse. Rather than spending money without keeping track of what i've already spent as a treat and as a result spending way over what i can afford. Any input welcome
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Well done on your purchases :T If you want to keep them, then do so! That's what treat money is for after all
Or you could of course wear them once and then sell them to fund the next outfit, and then become a person who never wears the same outfit twice"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Target 1 Start Balance 10/03/12 £2535
10, £2535 - 700 = 1835
11, £1835 - 4.80 = 1830.20
12, £1830.20 - 12.51 = 1817.69
