    Woo to bargains :T :T :T

Thanks hon - and to you ebayqueen :D You know what though? i spent a bit of time kicking myself about these yesterday :o Basically i'd left myself ridiculously short both yesterday and this month due to paying off that Overdraft and then making a PAD to it of all the spare money i had in an attempt to pay off the interest. Well when i bought these i had to borrow the money - and that really doesn't seem right any more :o - i did actually have a couple of pound on me after rummaging in my bag i was actually just a few pennies short on the price but as it was a charity shop and they were a bargain i would not have offered anything less. But given these are a fantastic bargain i know it *was* the right thing to borrow the pennies and get them - but just shows the shift in mindset i've had about things which is good :D

Oh I love finding something that I really want and at a low price too. Thats fantastic DDFW. You were right not to pass them.

No word on your savings total yet.

You are doing very well on your ebay. Mine is steady and I need to get some things listed tonight in between doing mams taxi runs :)

Hi ebayqueen :) - hoping to post a definite figure next week re. the savings *fingers crossed*. I will keep everyone updated :D

The eb*y has been brilliant - i was so pleased at all the things i sold :) Still awaiting several payments mind.

Good that your listings are steady. Ooh have you any experience selling kids stuff? I got my niece some tops at the carboot last week - there are 3 that are too small am i better off listing these individually or all together?

    Hi DDFW

If the tops are for wearing at the moment sell them if they are more suited to summer, keep them and list them then. I normally sell items individually but if its for a little child sell them as a lot.

    Hope this helps :)

I think you were definitely right to get the ornaments, it's such a huge discount on the normal price. A bit of healthy guilt does no harm though and is a good sign :)

Good luck with the listing tonight ebayqueen :)

DDFW, I think peaceandfreedom did quite well selling clothes in bundles. Maybe try them individually for a bit and then if you have no luck put them on as a bundle?

    Morning everyone :)

Well as you can probably see from my sig my savings arrived in my bank account :T Totally unexpected to get them now but of course a very welcome surprise and just about all been spent of course - just need to pay that big £550 house bill but am giving the phone a rest before i do this

what i have also received is numerous messages from eb*y buyers: -
Someone bought something off me a week ago but didn't mean to buy it and until now has been on eb*y but has been unable to contact me ? Advice on what to do please although i know it'll probably be just saying ok then don't buy it

Another item arrived with the packaging damaged and the item damaged and what am i going to do about it? Advised to return for refund and i'll take it up with post office. I've sold 1000's of things and never had this before :(

And the person who keeps messaging me and refers to the message i have sent to them but completely mis-quotes this and says i have not replied to them at all :undecided

From those who've paid me i've already paid that money off bills and other than the money i'm about to spend on the large bill and the DD due out in a couple of days i have no other money available to me :( I know i maybe shouldn't have things as tight as this but as i've so little money its often like this.

So the good and the bad all at the start of the day. I also paid all the bills before all these messages started dropping in otherwise i'd have had to leave something available just in case of refunds.

Yay to savings arriving :T :T :T :T That will make such a difference now.

    Boo to ridiculous ebayers :(

Non payers - have you started a NPB on them yet? I always do on day 4 if I can see they've been on ebay. If they haven't I might wait a day or two, but I don't have much patience.

With yours, I'd be tempted to do a NPB on them, they've messed you around. You risk they pay up and then neg though, but I'd take that risk personally - one neg in the grand scheme of things is not a big deal. Otherwise your only option is to get them to agree to a mutual cancellation, and you'll get your FVF fees back, but if they don't agree to it you lose out on those too.

The damage one - yep, return for a refund (including the damaged packaging too). I had one item arrive damaged, I asked them to send a picture and just refunded them as the item was no use to me or anyone else damaged. But in most cases I would ask to return for a refund.

The other one - tell them they obviously have received your message but misunderstood it, and repeat what you've said. Make sure you always respond through ebay messaging and if it ever goes to dispute they will be able to see that you have responded.

I always withdraw my money too and spend it straight away. I don't have a choice. I take the chance that I don't have any problems, but then if I do, I have to sort something out. If the person has to return the item for a refund, then at least it gives you a couple of days to sort out the money (or usually in my case hope for some sales to cover the amount of refund :o)

Hi jwil thanks for the input and i realise i wasn't clear.

The damaged item is just in need of a clean - so not damaged beyond repair

The person who hasn't paid wants to cancel their order - its just annoying that they've left it a week and clearly been on eb*y in the meantime

But yes i have others who haven't paid yet - i always give them a week - but make sure all invoices have been sent today - next job to be done actually

The person messaging me all the time had a reply from me initially and then i replied a second time simply re-iterating what i'd put in the first message as there was nothing more i could say really. So they have actually had 2 replies off me.

Whats annoying on these messages though is the 'hope we can resolve this as i don't like to leave bad feedback' or the 'do x or get bad feedback do you really want to risk it?':mad::mad:

Urgh! clearly i'm not having a great day :o

Just made something to eat as not had anything yet and then couldn't face it :(

If it just needs a clean then it's hardly a big deal is it! People are such idiots.

If they leave negs after threatening it, you can get it removed by ebay as they don't allow feedback extortion.

    Hope your day improves :)

Oh jwil you are such a help to me :D Thanks for letting me know that about negative feedback :)

Ok, i've just done a little review of the items i've got unsold  And will list a few things at 99p start price tomorrow and see how these go on :) - or might do tonight actually :)

Hello, lurker has come out, provoked by the audacity of this ebayer. It is an auction. Once a bid is made, it is binding. Ebay say that there are only exceptional (and named) circumstances when this is not the case and, basically, it is up to the buyer to prove they meet the criteria. I would, at the very least, make them do some work to prove their case even if you end up subsequently cancelling it due to the hassle factor.

I like reading your diary because you are so inspiring, consistently working very hard. I will disappear back into lurkdom for now!
