So it was good that i was very disciplined on saturday and paid out the money as soon as it came in as the failed guttering is doing what failed guttering does - getting worse _pale_ Next time i get an input of cash i will have to pay for new guttering all round the house - its going to cost me in the region of £600 :( But it is an important job that has to be done and once its done i won't feel ill about it every time it rains :o

This will have to take priority over a new shed & fence because of the damage its doing to the house. But i was very annoyed to discover someone has been in our garden at least twice this last week - making a mess the second time

    Just so's i'm not just moaning :o

The good news is i've started my Pads again as you'll have seen in my previous posts - i like to keep track of the money owed being whittled down and it seemed apt to do this as i have managed to make payments these last few days - from savings and then from cleared eb*y funds - so i must get on and get some new things listed. I am really pushing to get target 3 cleared by the end of april.

Target 1 has been paid in full including the shockingly high amount of interest whacked on  if they put any more on after this i will be going in to ask about it rather than ringing up and being worn down by being given an answer to a question i've not asked rather than what i am asking

Target 2 - will be paid by the end of this month

Target 3 - aim is end of april

    Target 4 - tomorrow

    Target 5 - May

    Target 6 - June - July

    Target 7 - August

 to people coming into your garden  that would make me angry too. Is there something you could put up temporarily like a huge holly bush or something :D

Shame about the guttering too, but as you say it will make a big difference when it is done.

You are doing so well, and going to be DF very soon :T :T :T

Thanks jwil and am glad that you understand my annoyance over this - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: to the holly bush :D

Oh i should have clarified the previous post with targets and dates is all just hopeful - i have no guarantees on this and as things like guttering and car insurance get in the way it is hard going. I do know though that is the same for all of us - we get a few pennies together for something and then things like gutters demand the money and the debt stays the same :(

Hey, there's no guarantee with anything, but I have faith that you will do it, and if you don't quite make your target you will certainly be nearly there :T :T

DDFW..that's carp...people ( animals?) getting into your garden....how about a nice pyracantha? (sp?) that'll teach em and it's a pretty cheap plant

It's always the way isn't it, pots/contingencies just get used up by emergencies:o but at least you are prioritising and making plans for how you spend, that's the main thing:)

    Have a good week

    Hi ddfw

You should keep your bargains and enjoy them :) As Jwil says re sell when you are ready. You have to have some joy for yourself DDFW, the constant debt busting is very exhausting. You deserve it. You work hard and you are very focused on your goals. So be good to yourself.

Just keep doing what you are at the moment and the pennies will gather up and you can then decide what is the most important. Seems like the guttering is your biggest worry and worry is not good for you DDFW. Saying that the worst of the weather is over and if you can wait until the end of the summer maybe that is the best thing to do. Only you know what you need but it is more important than the garden I am sure.

Thank you for your kind words. I am blessed with my family:) I still feel unwell and ears, throat etc all hurt. So at least I know I have something going on and its just not exhaustion.

Take care all and I'll check back in later tonight. Love your new target list. Come on DDFW :):):):):)

    Target 1 Start Balance 10/03/12 £2535

    10, £2535 - 700 = 1835
    11, £1835 - 4.80 = 1830.20
    12, £1830.20 - 12.51 = 1817.69
    13, £1817.69 - 1.63 = 1816.06
    13, £1816.06 - 15.00 = 1801.06
    14, £1801.06 - 3.55 = 1797.51
    15, £1797.51 - 15.44 = 1782.07
    16, £1782.07 - 1.25 = 1780.82
    17, £1780.82 - 1.96 = 1778.86
    18, £1778.86 - 2.00 = 1776.86
    19, £1776.86 - 10.00 = 1766.86
    20, £1766.86 - 6.63 = 1760.23
    21, £1760.23 - 31.93 = 1728.30

Thanks for your understanding brizzle :)

Err - i actually have no contingencies :o Its just if i now get a little lump sum of money in again i will *have* to use £600 of it for the gutters rather than debt reduction :( I know it'll be well worth it once its done but i do just want the debt gone! :o

    Hi to everyone :D

Yesterday i cleaned 1 full - ish room - the ish bit is that i did not have time to clean and re-hang the curtains so that will be done tonight. Along with another room :)

The room does feel better for it which is good :)

I also listed 5 newly listed items on eb*y and aim to do at least the same again tonight ;)

I also sold a couple of 99p items yesterday - it is all good as it is things gone and money coming in :)

I woke up again in the night though worrying about money amongst other things :( But i decided on a few more pricey clothes and shoes that i am going to list on the next FLW and that helped a little as it felt constructive :o

Today the DD came out for the last bit of target 4 so that has now been paid off in full :j:j:j

But i am trying to be rid of target 3 by the end of april  I really need to reduce the balance to £1000 by the end of this month which means raising and receiving over £800 to pay to this *gulp* This is in addition to paying over £200 to clear target 2 in full

So the £800 goes something like:-
    £100 regular budgeted payment
    £100 MS money
£200 eb*y sales can i sell this amount again this month?
£100 snowballed from bills no longer paying
£100 cashback concern is it may not come through in time
£50 grocery budget not looking too likely as alot of expensive stuff has run out
£50 surveys close to payout but how soon will they pay?
£50 of odds and ends money
    £50 salary owed

I guess all i can do is list more things for sale and hope things sell and people pay up quickly
