Hi DDFW,
Mine has tracked today, so it's still possible yours might turn up :j
If you need a break - have one. Seriously, it makes a huge difference. My day yesterday where I did nothing really helped me. And Saturday as well - I posted that I was having a few days off, so I suddenly got the urge to do some listing, I think taking the pressure off, and saying to myself that I don't *have* to do it if I don't want to, makes me more productive. I was feeling exactly the same as you last week - I felt silly that I'd agreed to the challenge, but was then going to post that I needed some time off, but I just had to.
With regards to selling stuff - if I want to get rid of it, I'll look and see what others have sold for and adjust my price accordingly, or I will put it on at a low price and see what happens. If it's something I will happily keep though, I will set it at a price that I am happy for it to sell for, and I make no apologies for that. People either buy it or they don't. I may consider coming down on the price a little bit, but only if I'm comfortable doing so. So in that case I totally agree with you
I hope you get a better nights sleep soon. And I'll have some cake if you are offering, but you can have double helpings of custard*bleurgh*

Ta hon
but i've perked up a bit after some rice pud
- couldn't find the custard to go with the cake.
Possibly a little bit delighted too as i've got another item with a bid on :j:j:j and i've wriggled myself into action and listed 5 newly listed items too
So the one thing i've missed is finding something for the 30 item declutter - and this is perhaps what i'll give myself a break on - just for nowCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hiya everyone
Well to try and keep up with everything i've been writing lists upon lists - i.m also finding that its getting it out of my mind and onto paper - rather than me fretting about what the next amount of money due out of my account is and where the money is coming from
i *wasn't* quite checking for extra eb*y sales was just jotting down addresses for those who'd paid up and i've had another sale Woo! :jCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi ddfw
You are doing very well with the months challenge. I have decided to do what I can but not put myself under too much pressure as this stresses me out. I have 29 items listed which is great and a lot of them are being watched. I was reading your lists and they are amazing. You have it all worked out. So you are not going to spend the £200 on your home item? Or have I misread that. I am the same as you I like to see things in black and white and work from that.
I would seriously recommend taking a day off from the computer completely and concentrate on anything but money. It will recharge your batteries and you will work twice as fast when you get back to it.
Take care ddfw
Ps having a bit of a disaster here, washing machine now out of action. I hope to get someone out today or tomorrow. !!!"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Well done on the listings and sales :T
Thanks honHow are your listings going?
I've just checked it again am now up to 9 items selling :j but have over 60 items whose listing ends today - would be absolutely fab if i get more salesEspecially as the big nasty credit card bill - which i specifically checked last week to see what the due date was - has brought the payment due date forward by 4days  Which means even if i've got the cheque from my savings it won't have cleared by then. So i definitely need to have the £80 in my account to cover this by then AND i need to pay the balance ASAP before interest - which of course would be almost another £80 being whacked on

Hi ebayqueen
I think everyone finds their own way so definitely don't put yourself under any undue pressure. The pressure i put myself under to get money in is less than the pressure i feel by the bills and my way of feeling more in control of things - along with the endless lists
I hope those watchers turn into bidders for you!
And no you've not misread it - i'm not putting here what the item is as it may make me a bit identifiable along with other thingsBut i have found out that £200 would not even be half the cost for the item in question  So my choices were leave £200 in the account but i won't leave the £200 in the account as that way frittery goes :whistle:Withdraw the cash to save up for said item - realistically savings for this won't start until i'm debt free So *if* i use this money towards debtfreedom then everything will happen quicker anyways - Plus i had £200 to find to meet my target  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have actually taken a leaf out of jwils book and limited my computer time yesterday - will look to do more of the same
Really hope your washing machine is easily fixed and not too expensive xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
So people i am just popping on here and then i *am* going to *do* something
What that something is has not entirely been decided as yet  But i feel it may involve some decluttering
I am trying not to keep checking eb*yI have got a few things that will sell - would love extra things to sell today - I'm pretty sure that more than half - possibly even 3/4s of the things listed have watchers - but this does not mean anything as we know
I also received £20 of vouchers today - which i mentioned a couple of weeks ago and so am happy with these
I will also re-check the banks later as i want to work out my eb*y profit for whats been paid and posted + had a couple of other bits of stuff arriving inCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey everyone
Well can't remember if i posted or not - yesterday i sold 7 items on the bay of e
Today i sold 18
And 4 more will sell tomorrow - so thats a fab amount of 29 items sold :T:T:T
Just waiting for payments now - although some of my more expensive things - £10 1 item and £20 for the other ooh and now a £15 paid straight away :T:T:T
At first i was a little disappointed as the stuff ending first had several watchers and no bidders - will try and list them at a slightly later time next time and see how they go onBut then all these bids have happened - very happy indeed
I also did that bit of decluttering earlier - threw away some bits that were only good for throwing away. Sorted out 1 'lot' of things for eb*y, remembered i have my coat to list on there and have a book too - so 3 of the 30 items organised just not listed yet
Hope everyone else's sales went well tooCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
