HI DDFW
I have just noticed your signature for February....well done indeed.:)That should make a big difference. Are you using it all for the debt or putting some towards repairs etc.?

Hiya DDFw
How you feeling today ?
I ate some cake earlier so am definitely better than i wasnot sure what was wrong with me. Also managed to sleep for about 4 hours undisturbed so it could have been tiredness as my sleeping has been rubbish

Thanks ebayqueen
I think you mean the make £10 a day?Well in all honesty my income from my full-time job is less than my essential outgoings
Truly i did not overcommit myself when i bought the house but 1 redundancy later and a long time of low paid p/t work = The Debt + a now f/t job which pays pittance for the work but is full time still
So I *have* to earn extra every month just to pay the bills so some goes towards this. Some of that has been amaz*n vouchers - of which i am now the proud owner of about £30 worth from this month alone Whoop! :T Plus some other vouchers. Sadly can't chuck it at the debt but will use for stuff for home. Some i will use towards making the house less of a building site - which i think will make me and OH feel better too
Then some is for the shortfall on bills due to car repairs etc.
I have paid about £1400 to the debt this month though
Hope you are ok too hon

Well done on the listings, hope you feel better soon xx
Thanks hon - a bit of sleep perked me up- as posted think it was a solid 4 hours :T
I got some more items listed :T now at 35/50 - hoping they sell - still at nearly £200 shortfall  - as i have counted some expected funds already so when they arrive the amount i've made will go up but the shortfall won't go down if that makes sense ? *gulp*
Hope your sales go well too and that your back is alot better xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
There's nothing a good bit of sleep and some cake can't cure I don't think

Hi everyone,
Thanks jwil and ebayqueen
ebayqueen - that amount was only really possible by selling the car.
I am still on a shortfall this month - just re-done my sums - does anyone else do this? check the figure and check them again etc? Hopefully i'm going to scrape in at the end of the month with all dd's being paid - just need a few more items to sell and a few more people to pay for whats already been sold.
So yes, a few more bits sold this weekendHoping it'll be free listing soon as i've alot of above 99p items to re-list  I think i'll re-list the 99p bits later.
Plus i didn't hit my target of 50 items listed - got to 45. I *have* got 2 items i can list though (if one drys after being washed) and i have another 2 things that need ironing at the mo.
Todays major challenge though will be a wardrobe declutter! Yes againThe aim is to fit in all the clothes i have that i want to keep in my wardrobe - i'm currently making the house untidy by having all my eb*y stuff in piles
AND having clothes that aren't destined for the bay of e hung up all over the house rather than in the wardrobe as they don't fit
So we will see how this goes later on
What i'd really like to do is scrape a bit extra together to throw at target 1 - i have earned some cashback this month but its not got to the stage of being paid out as yet - at least i got something back with insurance - i think a couple of payments need to go through first.
I'm also planning ahead to the next target i want to hit which will be *i'm pretty much decided* one of my 0% credit cards. The one i've chosen is because if i pay it down enough i may get another deal to transfer to 0% and transfer the nasty much higher balance card onto this.
So the plan for march will be to pay off target 1 in full, move onto the next target - target 2 - which also happens to be item number 2 on my list :T (my list is not in target order by the by) AND start to make payments to target 3 - a 0% overdraft which i'm not paying anything towards at the moment. Its just under £250 on target 3 so my smallest outstanding balance BUT it would be a great psychological boost to clear another creditor in full - from the long list i haveso if i start to chip away at this too then that would be good.
Right off to get some things sorted out xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Nice to see you again
Yes, when I don't have my head in the sandI do often re-check my figures.
Good luck with the Great Wardrobe Declutter and well done on the listings and sales :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
