Thanks for the meal planning advice DDFW, I shall take that on board! I've been very good the last couple of weeks about looking through the freezer and planning some meals for the week from there so that we don't buy as much, as I'm trying to run the freezers down so we can refill them with fresh stuff.
Ebayqueen, sounds like you've got a busy day ahead of you. Sorry to hear about your Son's friend's mum, it's never nice to hear, and does make you think doesn't it"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Morning DDFW
You certainly have your meal planning down to an art. I need to do the same thing so thank you for your tips. How is your ebay going. I have done nothing over the weekend as I have guests staying and a family get together today. Have just sat down for a few mins and then I am on my feet all day. 12 for dinner this evening.
Heard some bad news yesterday about the sudden death of the mother of one of my sons school friends. Puts life into perspective. What really matters are the people you love.
Take care DDFW
((hugs)) to you ebayqueen - so sorry to hear of the sad news - as you say these things really do make us stop and take stock of the important things. Hope you're ok x It does sound nice if hardwork entertaining so many people at once but good you have your family around you today x
Meal planning has been really good for me- still learning with it but it has stopped so much waste and made sorting meals out + shopping tons easier
Just have to remember to update my lists when i've done the shopping
Eb*y was very slow on putting the re-lists on yesterday but they are on there now and i hope a few will sell - with a bit of lucki've listed some new bits today but only a few things - i perhaps really need to scrape some more things out of the cupboards to sell
If i sold 35 things last month then i've sold 60 this month with a couple of things ending today too.
Do hope you're ok xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Thats good with you running your freezers down a bit - i think though you are supposed to make sure they are full with plastic bags or something? As a full freezer is more economical to run - sure you know this alreadyCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Yes, there's still plenty in them - veg and things, I've just been trying to use up the meat that we've bought so that it can be replaced with fresh stuff that I buy when it's a good deal
Well done on the listings!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks jwili'm nearly at 100 but have just been so ill all day its been hard going - i think its just a combination of tiredness and upset stomach - hoping i feel more on form tomorrow
I figured you'd know about the freezer but it was only recently i found out about filling the empty spaces with bags to make it cheaper to run until stocking up again
Hope you've had a nice weekend - i know you've got lots done and i know that is always satisfyingCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hiya DDFW
Sorry to hear that you were not well yesterday. You are under so much stress. What about a nice hot bath warm jammies and hot drink tonight. You have done so well this month.
