  • Thanks hon - really hope i hit my personal target! And hope even more that people bid ;) Would be easier if a) i wasn't blocked on those few things - at least 3 items i can think of immediately that i could list! Plus have got the 4 items being ironed so they won't go on until next week now - so that would have been at least 7 items!

    Hi ddfw:j

Absolutely delighted to hear you sold you car. Haven't been on MSE all day and had to check to see how you were getting on. Chuffed to bits for you. :D:D:D:beer::j

You will find the £200 shortfall. You still have a few weeks left and all will go well.

What great news about the letter and you were worried in case it was bad news:T

You will have your simple life and your sewing machine, you deserve it. Keep going and it must be such a relief to see the car go.

I don't do swagbucks have signed up but never really got into it. I do opinpost and other survey sites. Cashed in £5.50 from surveys done since last night. So pleased with that.

    Take care my dear

Thank you so much ebayqueen :D I am happy in the decision and price with the car and happy my little brum will be well cared for and pootling about to places again :T

I will PM you my little swaggers guide if you would like? I have just redeemed again today for amaz*n - i could do more on it but spend i would say approximately 10mins a day on there and i do the stuff you don't get screened out of. Anyways if you want my guide just let me know :)

Well done on your survey payout too :) :T:T:T

Yes the £200 i feel is a do-able challenge. I have listed 88/100 newly listed items on the bay of e this week *phew* and re-listed everything i could too so well over 100 items on there just now - a few have bids already so if they pay that will be a good start on that £200 :T

I'm giving myself a break on the bay of e now - i know i've not hit the 100 but i will do the the other 12 tomorrow morning. I have sorted 7 more items out so just 5 to find

I lost about 3 hours on the comp for various reasons so i feel i've done well and am happy with getting so much on.

Its funny - this personal challenge has been really good for me as i didn't have anything newly organised to list and this challenge has forced me to look at things differently too - as its stuff i'd have kept alot of it has gone on at a decent price but you know if it all sold it would be a fantastic declutter :D

*i must stop checking it now though :o*

Hope you have had a nice day ebayqueen and hope you get some good sales too :D xxx

Thank you again for your lovely kind and encouraging words - it really means alot :)

  • Evening all :)

Wow after i finally got all the eb*ying finished and then a bit of time to just relax before bed it has turned into a really late night.

Anyways after the huge effort i made this week - just to note again - i have decluttered via eb*y, carboot and charity shops as well as to friends and family for years so all the items i found to list this week (as a new rather than relisted item) on eb*y have been things i had initially been very happy to keep.

So... i have thought of setting myself another challenge... of 50 items this week - after the last 12 to get to 100 tomorrow of course  Now this 50 i may spread out over eb*y, amaz*n and greenmet  As at the end of the day it will still be 50 items that are leaving the house and hopefully bringing the money in ;)

I still have the £200 shortfall to reach - plus it would be better if i could pay the money from this months money for this months bills rather using next months money so still playing catch up. Of course to do this i'd need to raise over the £200.

I have weirdly enjoyed the way this harsh month has made me look at the things i have.

I hadn't realised the time and have poured myself a glass of red  so will have this before i take myself off to bed.

I hope its been a nice saturday for all :)

  • Hi all :)

Just 1 more item to list to get to the illusive 100 ;) Although i've just won an item and like a good little eb*yer paid for it straight away  Don't worry - its not for me though i'll need to add the amount onto the shortfall. I have a birthday to buy for and am confident that this will be a brilliant gift - its new and i managed to get it for less than half the priece its going for anywhere else new or used so am pleased with that :)

I am going to grab a shower now in the hopes it will make me feel more human

Oh and i've already started on 50 items sold anywhere self challenge *catchy don't you think?* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: 1/50 - listed an item on amaz*n :)

Right hot water beckons - hope you all have a good day x

    Hi DDFw

You are doing so well. You put me to shame. It feels good when you get rid of items that you previously thought you didn't want to sell but when they do, it doesn't really matter. They are only things. Peace of mind is more important than anything else.

Will definitely get that guide of you DDfw, do you earn much every week. I love amazn vouchers. Great to go shopping and not spend any money.

Keep going, you sound in such good form. Good to see it.:):)

  • Hi all

Jwil and ebayqueen thank you for your lovely supportive words :)

    *drum roll please... *

    I managed 100/100 items :j:j

    And

Am at 4/50 on this weeks target too :T:T

I sold several items yesterday that totalled £65 - will need to wait and see how much the postage and packing tallies up to to see how much the fees will affect this. I do always charge for packing as I usually have to buy this but the last lot i bought was on an MS a while ago and i've a little bit left still :)

If everything that had several watchers had sold i'd have made £150 - not to worry - i at least managed to re-list all these items too so with a bit of luck they may sell this week ;) Hopefully people were just out at the end time

Had to start another non payment thing though and earlier in the week had to issue a refund to someone who hadn't received their parcel so will chase this up with the post office :undecided

Got quite a few bits finishing today too so fingers crossed those watchers become bidders :)

Will PM you now ebayqueen - i think i've had 1 voucher every 2 weeks from swaggers

  • well i had some stuff end again today on eb*y. Very odd day indeed - several items lots of watchers no bids :( But did sell a few bits 99p that had no watchers at all :T Pleased really as i've listed these a few times and had just about given up on them going :)

Had quite a few people pay up so i can work out profit for these after posting tomorrow :)

A few things ending throughout the week so we will see how they go.

I am up to 10/50 newly listed things now - mainly books so these might be a bit slow at being sold.

Also got an amaz*n voucher from a survey site today - got it instantly so very happy with that - although it can't go to the shortfall sadly.
