Wow, you know how to live life on a knife edge Beanie!

I will personally offer to bribe Fred to give you SOTW, even if someone else loses a limb and has a 30lb loss this week.

I feel like now would be an appropriate time to quote Arkwright from Open All Hours, and say "Ahhhhh, it's been a funny old day", on here.

Hoping the scales are kind to me tomorrow, and I'm going to pray to baby Jesus, and any other gods to help me out.:D

well done on your 2lb purdita.

do you stroll because of the dog or because the illness? what about the stop starting is that for the same reason?
If its dog related then there are options - let dog off lead or use an extending lead etc
sugar free jelly is a good food to eat if youve got a sweet tooth, can have litres of it and almost no calories

    Thanks puddings!
I live out in the sticks so fortunately I can walk most places with my dog off the lead and I do have an extending lead for when we are in the lanes.
I used to be quite fit but I'm getting out of breath far quicker these days! Doesn't help that I'm 2 stone heavier though!! Really should try to walk faster, but I generally meet friends so we end up strolling and chatting, while the dogs run around in the fields or in the streams getting their excercise. Should be the other way round I know :D
Walked down to the river through the woods this afternoon and it is a killer coming back up so will have to do that walk more often!
I'll get some jelly in....I do have a sweet tooth and really miss having something nice in the evening other than fruit.

    Beanielou.....fantastic effort....what's your secret????
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    Beanie!!!! Go you:T:T:rotfl: Fantastic.

teecee - green smoothies need to start at 60% ish fruit, 40%ish veg and if you do them regularly (like me, every day) you gradually up the veg and lower the fruit as your taste buds adapt.
You can use any green leafy veg an it is good to vary what you use. But a good start is:
30g spinach, 1 lge banana & an apple 3-400ml water. I also add a tblsp physillium husks (in health stores - looks like sawdust) which additionally acts as a fantastic broom, sweeping out everything that has been hanging around too long.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I am another big fan of green smoothies! I normally half fill the blender jug with a chopped apple, pear, banana and then the other half gets filled with fresh spinach or kale or just ordinary cabbage! I sometimes throw in a date for the flavour and also have some hemp protein powder that I sometimes put a tblsp in. Tastes lovely and my skin looks great!
ps - I like the chat on here, nice to see people being happy - there is enough moaning in this world!
