eric dont feel bad, i am a boring nerd in real life! always coming out with 'did you know....' lol
alliwant - well done! 100lb is AMAZING!!

Can't vote for just one member for helpfulness/friendlyness - but funniest has to go to Puds for his cartoons/funny pics that always make me chuckle. Eric gets special mention for being so wise. The wiseness award!

Vix - come 2011 I am whipping myself into shape, you in?? Long distance diet buddies!!!!

Now, I know I said no more diets, but I am going to try SW again. I dont think I gave it a proper shot and I do think it will work for me if I try my best.

I am going to list my New years resolutions here so that they are in writing with witnesses:

    1. I'm going to hit SW and do it properly from Jan 1st till June 1st, with 1 flexi day (you can eat what you like) a month for any special occasions. If I can stick to it for that long (5 months) I will be so pleased.
    2. I am going to get on my bike and get to the gym (OH has even offered to drive me up there for evening aerobics classes if I like) at least twice a week and the weekends where we are not busy (and we'd usually play xbox and eat biscuits) OH and I will play squash
    3. I am going to take good care of myself- inside and out. I am going to make myself feel good.

I'm going to be 25! It's time I took care of myself.

Hi can I join you all please? I'm Jodie, 24, Engaged to Matt 25 and have a DD 2 n half years. My current weight as of this morning is 12st9lbs :( and I'm 5'8, and some of my size 16's are getting abit uncomfortable. This time last year my weight was 11st4lbs so in a year I've gained 18lbs :( The reason for this is down to stopping exercise around xmas last year and not getting back into it, also general greediness! I find it really hard to control myself around food. I need to get back into exercise and control my eating, I know I can lose weight when I try as I have done in the past, just by calorie counting and exercising. Cross Trainer will be coming shortly and just got a Kinect so going to buy a workout game for it. Biggest fear at the moment is food, tons of goodies been bought for us this christmas, both mine and Matts parents put us hampers together, aswell as buying each other some treats. It's really upsetting me having them in the house and I feel like I want to throw it all in the bin! But thats not fair on Matt or DD. Both Matt and DD are healthy weight and they eat healthily and unlike me will make the goodies last months. So I cant punish them by throwing them, but it's really killing me :( Actually though I'm doing good today, because weighing myself this morning has pushed me toward taking action. So far today I've had fruit for breakfast, cheese sandwich for lunch and about 10 smarties, physically had to stop myself from eating biscuits and choccies all day, picked up the boxes and put them down and walked away! Well done me :T Lol I've got a looooong hard battle for the next few weeks, once I get into it I will lose weight, it's just getting into it I struggle with!

Ooops that intro turned into a life story lol

  • Hello all,

I am starting to lose weight again (i tried earlier this year but after a break up never found the full motivation. But having turned 30 recently and being back on the market this is the perfect chance to start again.

I actually started last monday (1st March) and i am currently finishing my first week. I currently weigh around 16 and a 1/2 stones (AARRGGHH)

I would ideally like to get down to about 11 stone but i know that is a long way away.

I want to lose weight for many reason and will turn 30 this year and want to look back at picture of my birthday thinking "i don't look too bad!"

Just fed up of pretending that i don't mind about my weight - when i really do, tired of going shopping with friends and not buying anything as the clothes don't go up to my size.

Am looking forward to joining you on this journey.

To kick start me off i will be going to a local bootcamp on 10th Jan so am looking forward to that!

    Hugs
