We had our antenatal class today and tour of hospital. Was pretty good and I have decided to go for birthing centre (part of hospital) as they can always move me if needed and is a lot more homely and nice. Also hoping for a water birth but we will see. The class was pretty good too although I did know some of it already from reading etc.

Got the day off tomorrow yay. We have got a few things planned to do though. Need to check car seat in car, take all the cardboard boxes lying around to tip, go food shopping. I am also planning on packing my hospital bag in case anything happens early.

Managed to do all the things we had planned yesterday which was good. My hospital bag is too small though so might use my small pink suitcase or i need to get a small holdall or something. Might have a look at the weekend.

Back at work today, was quite busy which was good.

Meeting a friend tomorrow who works near me for lunch at zizzis. We were going to use a voucher but is only valid after 5pm grr!

Well another week of work done, only two more to go! Got taken for lunch today by one of our contractors. We went for tapas and was really tasty.

Not much planned for this weekend. I am going to go to Argos to get myself a holdall for my hospital bag as the bag I had wasn't big enough. OH is working nights so he will be asleep in the days so will have to entertain myself.

Got my holdall this morning and is just the right size so that is good.

Just been into town with OH as he needed to get his hair cut. Got some paper plates and plastic cups for my baby shower next weekend. Need to do some lists of food etc i need to buy next week.

Is a lovely sunny day, hope everyone is enjoying it.

It is exactly a month till baby is due today, exciting!

I have been up since about 8 as was too uncomfortable trying to sleep. I have done a couple of constructive things though. I have put a load of washing on and have also sorted through all the bills, leaflets etc in kitchen drawer and all the receipts etc i have in my drawer. Might do a bit more sorting in the bedroom once OH is awake after his night shift.

Not much to report this week. Only 7 days of work left woohoo and tomorrow is a half day because i have a midwife check up in the afternoon.

Went shopping last night to get food and also things for my baby shower on saturday. Got a bit excited and spent quite a lot but hopefully will be a fun day. I also bought myself a book about being a yummy mummy, so hopefully that will come in useful hehe! Will give me something to read on maternity leave anyway.

Been doing a few surveys. The ones that give me vouchers I am going to get some clothes vouchers so i can treat myself after baby is here.

Had my appointment today and all went OK, measuring right and heartbeat etc were all good. She has booked me in to birthing centre and as long as i don't go into labour before next Wednesday then am all good to go there.

Been doing some cleaning as well and flat looks reasonably presentable. Got two of my friends from uni coming tomorrow night then the rest of my friends and my Mum are coming sat for the day for my baby shower. Getting excited!

Oh and 6 days left of work woo!

Thanks! Went really well thanks, we played lots of games which was fun. I did a quiz with songs with baby in the name and celebrity baby names. Also everyone had to bring a baby photo and we had to guess who was who which was actually really hard!

Also got some lovely pressies from a couple of friends and my Mum and sister and the promise of more from other friends once baby is here bless them. Got some lovely little outfits, blankets , swimming costume and teddy. Is all so cute!

Been up the shops with my friend today before she went home and bought a nail varnish with my no 7 voucher, so was only £2. Also got some hairbands for hospital and some really cute thank you cards that I can slip pics of the baby into.

Last week of work starting tomorrow, exciting! Also payday on Wed which will be good, can put some more money in maternity fund.

Only two days of work left now! Is going really quick. They are moving someone else to my desk Fri lunhtime as well as we are going for a long lunch so won't need to do any work then woo!

Had a nice lunch today, was taken to eagle bar and diner and had a lovely burger and milkshake.

Found out some lovely news that my manager is pregnant. She will be off for a bit still when I come back which is sad but very happy for her.

I got paid today yay and have transfered some money to maternity savings so isn't looking so bad now although still want to save some next couple of months while I am still on full pay!

I managed to redeem from a survey site for a clothes voucher so will keep that for after baby so I can treat myself.
