I agree, I have seen some perfect presents for hubby's birthday along with things I would like for my Birthday as well as Christmas. Without the voucher being given out I wouldn't have even looked in Debenhams, but I agree if they decide they will refuse vouchers then it will speak volumes about their customer service and will certainly change the good light I see them in now.Comping wishlist for 2017

MSE UPDATE 5.45pm Fri 5 Nov: After reports that Debenhams had changed the voucher to £5 off £25, we've now had confirmation this isn’t true, and the voucher remains £5 off with no minimum spend. If you managed to print a voucher off in time, the T's & C's are all still the same.

It was fair enough for Debenhams to stop issuing vouchers once so many had been sent out - and I think it's brilliant that they aren't trying to wriggle out of the promotion, they're honouring all genuine vouchers already issued. I have to say, I probably wouldn't have set foot in Debenhams otherwise, but having spent ages trying to spot something for under a fiver, I've memorised most of their stock and may well go back to buy things for full price for Christmas! *
(*I say full price, but I mean in the sale, just no money off voucher.)

I went to Debenhams this morning with my wife I bought a bag of chocolate coins for £6 less my voucher. My wife bought a mixing bowl for £14 less her voucher. I guess we were either foolish not to have printed more vouchers or honest that we only printed the two?To Dare is To Do:beer:0

I've just had an email from Debenhams reminding me that they sent me a link to a £5 voucher and telling me to print it off and use it soon as it expires on 12 November!
I'm sure they wouldn't be reminding people to use the vouchers if it had all been a big mistake :huh:0 -
I had the reminder to spend my voucher email this afternoon as well :-) So it would be rude not to go and spend it tomorrow (my mum has given me hers as has my dad and a friend as well so have a few all with genuine email addresses.)
Fingers crossed they are honouring as i can't afford to spend 25 and use one however have looked on the net and there are alot of things i really like for gifts and for me at very good prices - I to havent been in debenhams for years - a converted customer (as long as they honour the voucher tomorrow)
If i was incharge of the offer I would have decided on the number of vouchers to be sent out for the whole promotion when that number were sent out the vouchers would have been stopped being sent - so i expect the offer has cost Debenhams exactly what they expected in terms of vouchers - only vouchers were issued quicker than they orginally expected - good marketing DebenhamsBeen stupid but have no regrets starting to slowly sort my finances now the kids are growing0 -

I said sorry at the time, I was trying it out for others and had not thought it through. I removed my post as soon as it was pointed out. The post was not there for more than a few mins.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

I first went to Boots and swapped 2 old mascaras for new ones at Clinique, the girl was lovely and told me to come back with as many as I wanted.
Debenhams and tried to use a voucher, the assistant went off for 5 mins to find a manager, long and short was I did get earing and necklace set reduced from £20 to £5 for free, and a red face.
Went to a different floor and got 2 £5 make up sets, free : )
2 Mugs at £5.50 each on the ground floor, cost £1.
Left and went to Starbucks for a rather lovely Gingerbread latte, free as the last coffee I got there was cold and they gave me a voucher.
Back to the car with my bags and changed my jacket
Got a lovely cropped beaded red herring cardi £32 reduced to £9.60, used text, so cost £4.60
Bracelet to match earlier set £12 reduced to £5, so free.
T Shirt for Hubby £25 reduced to £7.50, Paid £2.50, used text.
Found a grubby old mascara in my make up bag in the car, so a quick trip to boots and got it replaced.
While I was there I awarded myself for having stopped smoking for 4 weeks and bought an estee lauder perfume £24 for a Xmas pressy, and the hamper £49.99 for ME : ) Also got 1500 points, bonus.
So hubby and I between us in Debenhams used 6 vouchers, 3 were e mail, no problem, 3 were g mail, had problems with them but got them eventually. 2 texts, they were easy peasy.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0
