Well as I said, i didnt know that particular card was anything special, to me a credit card is a credit card, its a piece of plastic! If its a fancy one of not I dont care.
The reason I included my salary is because I thought that would have some impact on the credit limit.
I accept that I wont be getting that card, looking again at the website its probably the initial card they accepted me for.

Nope, not 100% sure what I applied for. Well I did think it was the platinum one, but after the reaction on here it cant be.0 -

I am not sure if things have changed much with regards to the yearly income required, but when I got accepted for my Barclay Card Platinum a few years back (my first credit card) I wasn't even working! I was still in education at a training center (aged 19) and on £40 a week... so why was I accepted, because I certainly didn't lie! Maybe it was because I was a customer with Barclays.
Either way, I am not complaining as I've always paid on time and not had any problems with Barclaycard.0
