  • Better day today, DD1 has done here piano and Maths, dw is on, dinner in aga, puppy has done most of her "jobs" in the garden today instead of the house, I have had DD1 training her to sit.

Tomorrow she can go out officially, and I am taking DD2 and her grandpa girly (?!) shopping. I have to change DH's M and S jersey that has a hole under the arm after 3 weeks, and get DD2 some new shoes.

NSD, and have got our fabby neighbour to come and repair garage doors at the other end to the one that broke on Weds, they won't close at the moment. Better than new doors.

  • Is it weird that I am still emailing work?? I even toyed with doing Easter revision but with breastfeeding baby in tow, that's a silly idea!
Going to get DD2 new shoes and trainers today, if I can convince her to put her trousers on the right way round.

Got my booking in appt on Monday so am going to broach the idea of a HB although a midwife in the past thought i'd never be allowed one. I had neurosurgery in 1995 and they didn't remove all the tumour so they worry about intracranial pressure during delivery. I had a fab labour with DD, the worst bit was that it slowed down once i got to hospital! TBH, i'm surprised they don't promote HB more.

Grateful, i think the idea of doing anything at all whilst breastfeeding with other children to look after is brave! I used to literally spend all day bf DD.

We have found that eash time we went into hospital the OH's contractions become irregular, but thats just because you are not as familiar with your surroundings.

Broach the subject with your MF however they usually stay for the safe option if there are any reasons why a HB would present possible problems.

Goodness you have been through the mill. B/F is a full time occupation early on, isn't it?

LP you don't need permission for a home birth, but obv. cath you may have a good medical reason not to.

Managed to get DD2 new shoes, Clarks are soo pants, the girl was clueless, less than polite, and the shoes fall apart. so far have failed to find an acceptable alternative. Changed DH's jumper. Puppy was fine and is snoozing, she had her first walk out today, she needed lots of chicken to get her round the block:rotfl:

I remember those days with Belle...she still gets excited about getting home. Ha ha. That said she would walk and play outside for hours if you let her.

No way, katsu stick around! £7 diesel one trip to hosp, £1.80 minimum parking and that's if you only stay 2 hours, paying for phone calls...arranging childcare, a puppy sitter...

Much cheaper at home, and free gas and air, which would make such a good street drug if they could make it more portable and glamorous!! All the joys of being slightly sozzled with no hangover.

a free supply of disposable incontenence pads that were great when the boys first slept nappyless at night......

I had DS2 at home, DS1 (then 16 months old) was in the next room. DS2 cried, and over the baby monitor we heard DS1 say 'wah, wah baby' and then he did an audible monster nappy fill which lucky Daddy got to change. Happy days :D

I like the kitchen, and yes you could ask a local chippy. Far cheaper.
