The baby is hitting himself in the head with a plastic toy and seems to be enjoying it. Are they supposed to do things like that?:rotfl:
Em...... yes. The clue is inhimselfbaby
LOL at the CC mortgage on the what have you done threadA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

She has nailed it courgette thanks for the birth pool idea, but I don't think I would get in it for the two small girls and the dog:eek:dollarsense wrote: »I can't !!!!!!!' believe the consultant didn't show up grateful!
This is what smartie refers to as the "Pilton Hilton":rotfl:and they wonder why I want a homebirth:eek:
Puppy has had her vaccines, wormer and flea treatment, again. We have got biological washing liquid to discourage the indoor weeing.
Everyone is at us to use a crate, but I really really don't want to, and calling it a "den" doesn't change my mind.
And I'm on hold to payroll who have !!!!ed up my pay, and I don't even start mat leave 'til Monday. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Exhausted this morning. Have to take self and DD1 to opticians, and endless housework needs doing.
Also spending a lot of time sorting hassles with pre-school and primary school. I will make them see things my way!!!
Puppy love is snoozing gently after an exhausting night of pooing on the carpet...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
OOpsie! Started a little thread on the pets sub board, and have begun a pro-crate training convention!!
Took DD1 to shoe shop (new school shoes and trainers) and the optician (new specs, yay!). Gained another £190 of marking money (DH) and £25 (me).
Managed to put up a watercolour (DH's Dad's) and got the blanket box in. Some toy rearrangement completed. Some washing done. Forgot DH's jersey to exchange in M and S, 3 weeks and it has gone into holes.
Had eyes tested and CL check, £5 eye test voucher, v.pleased, but can't remember where I got it. No expiry date, so handy.
Rather naughtily got dine in for a tenner for DH's birthday dinner. He has worked hard today, spent an hour stacking logs and hardly made a dent in the log mountain. We will need it with the £111 a barrel crude oil price. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Puppy snoozing on lap, DDs chasing each other round the house. Managed to convinced puppy that chewing lead on computer will lead to electric shock.
DH liked his presents...and no night-time accidents last night, so big improvement. From puppy, I mean, not DH, he is pretty house-trained.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
How did you manage to persuade the puppy that? Did it eat the wire by any chance and get a shock?
Glad to hear you didn't wake up to a big mess.0 -
Well she is quite good at stopping when told to...and she is very eager to please, long may that last!
Watched most of "Inception" last night, was supposed to be brilliant, but TBH it reminded me of when I used to have epileptic seizures, but my characters were more believable and my plots better...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Well a hideous start to maternity leave. DH tripped over puppy and managed to smash a glass all over the kitchen floor, tried to hoover it up and there is still glass over the floor as DD2 started screaming her bloody head off.
So I took a 15 minute bath and came down to find all hell broken loose. Puppy has realised she can get up the stairs, but not down. Stairgate out of attic later then.
I am having to take time out to calm down, it is only day 1 and the baby isn't here yet!!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Right, been to m/w, done birth plan (at home, no messing), all ok. Puppy was very good, first time she has been alone in the house. No poos or wees and the worst she did was take the tea towels off the aga.
Phew! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
