Honestly I have never before wished a boy could go BACK into care but I did last night!
Well, News is ok on MIL. Think we may have to go visit in Christmas hols, since come FEb its going to be very hard.
Got home to carpet fitted in bathroom (thanks Dad!) so no more bare floorboards. If it lasts til after maternity leave that will be great.
I like a free carpet I have to say!!
Tonight I have to do some online governor training, as am doing Head's performance management tomorrow:eek:
And we still haven't applied for DD2's school place. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I bet that is interesting doing the heads performance management.
And don't stress about your DD2s school place, you have a little longer. It was early DEcember wasn't it? Maybe next weekends priority.0 -
Very interesting as she's rather less than dynamic!!
Going to rack off early today and see about some nice food from M and S for Friday night (my birthday). To be bought with reward vouchers from our essential spending credit card, how MSE is that??
Snow forecast at home tonight...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
£62 spent on the water bill for the quarter, £8 spent in M and S where I bought a feast for Friday night, chocolate lollies for the DDs, a tube of handcream and 7 vests, 3 babygros and two hats for the baby. Love those reward vouchers. Also a gutting £64 of diesel, but don't want to be running out if it snows.
I'm frankly exhausted after parents' evening and haven't been as constructive as I might today.
Have all three credit cards now, but the bloomin car I was after has a deposit on it from someone else. Back to the drawing board!!
Definitely not a NSD as (if Sainsburys make it) we have a big shop to be delivered this eve. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
A bargainous spend in M&S. It drives me mad that i can be so careful with money esp on food shop and then the cars swallow up £100 when we have to fill them both. Has the snow started where you are?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

No, and the forecast has gone quiet on the topic of snow, at least as far as Tuesday. I will be prepared, though! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

MIL is home, so that's good. We have booked a room for Christmas hols in case we decide to go visit. (£171 two days if we go)
I get off work early to go to primary school. Did DD2's school application, with a heavy heart. It's only me, though, she's really looking forward to it.
M and D have a spare 'fridge for us, which is great, may try to squish it in the laundry room, our garage is not attached to the house, so don't want to put it out there, when I've got a tiny baby (here's hoping it all goes ok). Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Got my free baby vest from vertbaudet that someone helpfully posted on the preggy thread, yay!
At home in front of a roaring fire, and don't have to go anywhere for the rest of the day. Heaven. Have to pay the pre-school bill of £52, though. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
