  • Effing dishwasher has broken again, SMEG by name SMEG by nature.

Our porch is being dismantled. Still trying to make a sensible kitchen plan, and have to pay for bathroom today (boo hiss).

Well, aren't you the important one! Well done. They've obviously been pleased with the work you've done so far, or they wouldn't be asking you. It's OK to feel excited. (How does the team leader pay compare with the marker pay?)
    Starting again 13/4/19
    Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99
    Total owed: £28,801.49
  • They don't tell you that!!

I don't think it's heaps more, just a different role.

Just had a visit from an ex colleague and DD2 managed NOT to poo everywhere, which was nice.

Having the DW repair person out tomorrow at vast expense.

DH has four things to do for us besides work...hope he remembers. I have dw man coming and DD2 home at 12 and that's it really...maybe some ironing.

eta I really have to do better on the Christmas challenge!

I have ordered Christmas presents for DH and DD1 on vistaprint (had a voucher) costing a tenner for the two with postage.

I have also narrowed the worktop choice down to two, one quartz and one granite, will post a linky if I can find them.

Boo hiss to the "repair guys" who proomised to come and fix the DW today (or at least look at it) and cancelled as they are apparently too busy fighting amonst themselves. I would have spoken to their line manager, but apparently he was one of the ones squabbling!

    eta granite...NOT this supplier http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=kashmir+gold+granite&hl=en&sa=X&tbm=isch&prmd=ivns&tbnid=lSHfQgZ0mwPWFM:&imgrefurl=http://latonashi.en.made-in-china.com/product/MqFQOEnCbmWu/China-Countertop-Vanity-Top-Kashmir-Gold-.html&docid=Z62vesWTo3GvNM&w=600&h=398&ei=seZpTorsPImq8AOKopU1&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=173&vpy=393&dur=291&hovh=183&hovw=276&tx=146&ty=158&page=1&tbnh=128&tbnw=186&start=0&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:19,s:0&biw=1280&bih=692

  • If you are anti-religion, look away now

    Good news!

through the post I received a £4 electrickery refund, and a £67 insewerants (for Terry Pratchett fans) refund, for a policy I cancelled in November. They refunded my RAC and legal cover - rather unexpectedly.

I've made Christmas postcards on vistaprint with a pic of our house under 6 inches of snow - 100 for £3.49 incl. delivery.

Anyone know how to get religious Christmas stamps??

  • Warning! If you buy ginger puree from AF, DON'T put it in anything sweet. I have just ruined apple that was destined for crumble, it's mega salty.
