Glad to hear the scan went well and the floors came in so underbudget.
I would never have coped not knowing the sex. I can sometimes be so impatient.I guess it stops you going out and going too silly, and if you both have boys then i bet other people would go and buy gender appropriate clothes for you. Good MFW technique.

Thanks, guys.
LP It is weird, ours went...hosp wouldn't tell me sex/they told me a girl but convinced was a boy/couldn't tell
Michelle I may find out at the 34 week growth scan, if its a boy maybe I can ebay the girl's clothes to pay for boys ones?!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Well we have 2 girls already. I really would not know what to do with a boy but DH as this is definatly the final roll of the dice so to speak would love a boy. I got rid of all our newborn stuff so no matter what we need to buy again, gender neutral for us then i will go on a mad splurge, cot bedding is John Lennon Real Love so neutral ish and pram is a green bugaboo. I need a pram suit in neutral colours and thats me until birth. We were going to do a 3d scan but I feel with house expense its just not worth it. If a parent said oh we will pay for a scan or similar I would defnately agree but at the moment nope it will be a total surprise. Sounds weird but I don't even want to hazard a guess at gender incase i'm wrongMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I had mixed feeling about having a 3d scan, felt i really wanted one so I could see baby and i was amazed by photos I saw of friends ones. Having said that though, as didn't want to find out sex it may have fet weird seeing baby like that but not knowing if boy or girl. We wouldn't find out sex next time, i adored not knowing and was convinced I was having a boy! Was very surpised when this [STRIKE]little[/STRIKE] giant girl appeared!!
Can you drop some heavy hints about how much you would like one but funds aren't stretching due to house move? Think some of the charges are reasonable but you get tempted by the add ons!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Very kind offer Michelle, Thank you.
CathI have been trying hehe. Its about £175 for a 3d scan near me, problem is you need to travel to Perth/Kirkcaldy for one so thats 20+ miles of fuel in one direction alone It is £90 just for a 2d sexing scan. There is also a time pressure on us, i'm 26 weeks now so if a 3d scan was to be a viable option then it would have to be done ASAP. I think I need to just adjust to the fact it will not be happening for us this timeoo unless i get 5 numbers on the lottery tonight
