Obviously the good weekend got to me in the end, that and I ate rather late last night, so the loss that was showing on Friday morning has, in the course of a weekend turned into a maintain!

    No wrapping done
    7 days to go

  • Well done Flis - have you got the bag yet??

Suggs a maintain sounds like a good result under the circs;)

MissMP Costco is a huge warehouse where you pay £25 (or £20 for a business account) to join. It seems though, that if you shop regularly, the joining fee would soon be made back as they do hve some cracking bargains. y son got designer specs there for slightly over half what they are in the opticians. They sell just about everything from food to furniture.

If I don't get the chance to get back on here this week, I'd like to wish each and every one of you a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

I gained half a pound this week. Not that annoyed as I had 2 Christmas dinners Friday and Saturday  and DD is still not well so have been picking at food rather than cooking proper meals. Next SW class has been rescheduled cos its next Monday and has been moved to Wednesday after Christmas to see what damage has been done? Anyone weighing in next week?
Well done flis - enjoy the bag, i looove mine and it always gets admired! Well done also to Kay and Suggs :T

Consultant - thanks for the best wishes but I hope and am sure you wont be able to keep away that long :rotfl: The same goes to you though, have a very lovely Christmas with your family.

Got to be good this week to allow for damage limitation next week!!
  • Just a quick post to let you know that I fell well and truly off the wagon today and have just chomped my way through half a mini slab of Hotel Chocolat milk chocolate - absolutely scrummy but feel really sick now! Discovered the shop yesterday in the Arndale centre in Manchester and was amazed by it all - much better than Thorntons. Not cheap though.

To try to make up for it I made a "free" tea of veggie chilli and had a small sandwich abd satsumas for lunch but the damage has been done!

OH out tomorrow so will make all free food again for the day - work do on Weds evening so another bad day coming. Will be good for Thursday and then we're going to a really good veggie restaurant on Friday for my birthday. Seems like its an "every other day diet" at the moment - better than usual though because it used to be a "never ever" diet!
Glad to hear everyone is OK - speak to you soon,
    Rachel.

    Evening all

It's good to see so many messages! A good sign that we haven't all given up completely. :D

Here's the chart for this week, with the Slimmer of the Week award going to Lisyloo, and congratulations to Flis for hitting her target! :T :j :T Well done both of you.

No chart next Monday - the next one will be on Monday 1st January, when I for one will be making a few New Year resolutions.

I'll be popping in whenever I can this week, but so that I don't miss anyone, I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely Christmas and a very happy New Year.

    Lois

  • Hi all

I put on a 1 1/2 this week. At my local s/w we have been collecting stars for every lb lost which we started in october. then you get a raffle ticket free for every star. I had five. someone had 18! but I won a prize for the 1st time since I started.a lakeland potatoe chipper which I'm quite please about. we also had a taster session. There were some brandy truffles there which every one was popping saying how nice they were who made them? how many syns? It turned out they were bought normal chocolate full of syns. I'd already eaten 3! A lady had just pulled them out of her cupboard and put them in a fancy dish. someone also took profitaroles with a choclate dip. It's supposed to be low syn or free dishes. I probably put on another 1lb while i was there.

Anyway. I look forward to weighing everyone on new years day to see who's been naughty. I know I will have.
    HOW MUCH ?
  • Only half a mini slab Rachel? Well done, I wouldn't have stopped there! Well done to everyone who's keeping going, I'm trying but seem to be sabotaging myself at every turn by bingeing on totally unsuitable foods. Haven't weighed in in three weeks and really need to get myself together. I've started today by starting the food diary again. I think I've been getting a bit self destructive as I'm at a nice party on friday and planning on wearing a nice dress. Still, there's a few days to go to minimise the damage I suppose.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope the discworld fans enjoyed Hogfather. As i don';t have SKY I'm hoping it will pop up available for download.
