Happy Belated Birthday Rachel - hope it was a good one!!
Had our annual Christmas party yesterday. Like you Rachel I spent hours getting the house tidied and cleaned only to have to start to do it all over again today! We had 40 people (and live in a small house) It was great fun though. Ate and drank too much and so am on glasses of water today help get rid of the celebrations, pringles, cocktail sausages... you get the picture??!
Kids are well and truely hyper today and rightly so. Santa paid a quick visit last night and left new Pj's and slippers to wear tonight and so they are wound up to 1000!!! Having a lazy day today tidying up. Everything is all set for the big day. DH wants to go to Tesco or Sainsbury's later to pick up a half price turkey in true Money saving fashion. :money: By tradition its chinese for tea tonight then off to my cousins for mince pies and mulled wine for an hour. I guess that you could say the diet being on hold has started already!!
I probably wont get on again so I just want to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Christmas! I hope Santa is good to you all.
Love and Best wishes,
Honey X

I hope you had a lovely birthday Rachel (sorry I'm late!!)
Your Christmas party sounds great Honey, but how on earth did you cope with 40 people? I have 8 for the day tomorrow and get into a tizzy with just those, I think you're a hero :A
Just for today and tomorrow, I wish my three were still small - the magic goes out of Christmas when they don't believe in Santa any more. We still have a lovely day, but it's not the same
Everything's done and I'm quite worried - I've never been so well organised before and I'm sure I must have forgotten something vital :rotfl:
I've had lots of laughs over the last few months 'chatting' with you all and I've enjoyed sharing recipes and other ideas with you, there's a real sense of community here. I've learned a lot too, both from the losing weight thread and various other places on MSE - it's been fascinating, long may it continue.
A very Happy Christmas to all of you.

Hello peeps - Did we all survive? I've thoroughly enjoyed myself - my house looks like a bomb has hit it but everyone is happy! Kids had a ball yesterday. Food wise it was ok, trying to be good today as we are off to my aunts to do it all over again! Dragged DH out for a walk after we ate and felt so much better for doing so.
Hope you all enjoyed the big day and got lots of nice pressies - I got a voucher for a spa for a back massage - can't wait :T:T0 -

Unfortunately we aren't able to post the password as it is copyright protected and to do so could lead to the forum being closed down. Sorry - if you want to know the syn value of something post ask on here and someone should be able to look it up for you. I forgot to take a note of it last week so unfortunatley can't help. Someone should be along that can though...0
