Hi Suggs - just me and thee (to use a Yorkshire-ism) this morning by the looks of it.
Well done on your 2lb loss - you're doing amazingly well, although you're always knocking your efforts. How much have you lost since the beginning of your diet. Sorry, don't mean to be rude, if you'd rather not say, just ignore me!
As for the Food Tourettes Syndrome, what can I say - sometimes the mouth just takes over the brain, lol. It's worth it if you keep it to an occasional treat, after all, we all need something to look forward to. Problems only arise when it becomes rather more than an occasional thing. I can't think you've done too much harm with the additive to your skinny, unsugared latte.
Your exercise regime puts me to shame.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hello - I'm here too!
Just in the nick of time too as my colleagues are either going to Subway or Greggs for lunch and I'm waivering! I have brought beans on toast and some fruit but a vanilla slice and a cheese pasty sound lovely!
Will try to resist!
Have had quite a bad day today too - argued with OH first thing about soemthing petty, came to work and had an argument (rightly so too!) with a colleague that was blaming something on my dept not his and have loads to do.
Should get off here and do some work !
Vanilla slice............mmmmmmm!!!0 -
Thanks Consulant, I apprecaite your words.
Certainly looks like its just thee and me for now at least
The reason I knock my efforts is that I am driving myself as hard as possible, I am worried that I might repeat last time and start putting on weight again, one I stop the main push of the diet! I guess now though Im trying to make it a lifestyle choice. Lost over the 6 stone mark, but if you speak to my dietictan it would be over the 5 stone as I started late with her in Febbut we argeed the first 6 weeks would be arond a stone. Its not rude Consultant, its just that I dont like to admit my weight as its still a big number  at the moment.
Rachelmk, Stop and think first!! and then if you fancy a little treat then have a little treatI like my Starbucks and it is my treat for me, but normally it has a skinny muffin or carrot cake with it.
Again I like to exercise, never ceases to amaze me the funny looks I get in the gym when I walk in. As its attached to a hotel there are always different people in there. But then I get funny looks in starbucks too. Maybe I just get funny looks :rotfl:
Time to get that coffee I said I would earilerProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Noooooo Rachel don't do it, you'll be sorry if you do!!!!! Remember the old agage about a moment on the lips and a lifetime on the hips - it's so true. Try to think of how many spoons of fat it took to make the pastry and how many spoons of sugar went into the custardy bit - it's a heart attack waiting to happen (albeit tasty, lol).
Sorry about your bad day, but eating these things will make it worse, honestly. Get some time to yourself to close your eyes and 'see' yourself how you intend to look when you're at target - gorgeous!!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Suggs that's incredible. Don't be worried about what you still have to do, take pride in what you've done :A Anyway, who cares what you weigh now, it's not going to be that number for long is it?
Making it a lifestyle choice is the only way it will work and you seem to have it down to a fine art. There will almost certainly be times when you back-pedal, but you know you can get in gear again whenever you want to and that's a confidence booster which will carry you through to your personal target.
Well done
Don't mention skinny muffins to me - the peach and raspberry ones are to die for, and I nearly did die when I found out how many syns they were :eek:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Disaster averted!:j
One slice of toast with half a tin of beans, an apple and a satsuma!
What willpower - my colleagues had a pizza slice, a meat pie thing, and a big tuna baguette thing with gingerbread men.
Felt very virtuous!
Thanks
Rachel.
PS Well done Suggs on your fab efforts so far.0 -
Well done Suggs on your weight loss this week and your weight loss so far. That is amazing.
Good girl rachelmk on your lunch. I had two cheese scones for lunch and they were very tasty:D Hence why I have only maintained this week again - I just can't get into cutting out the nice stuff sometimes. Thank goodness that I don't like chocolate any more.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Thanks consultant. I don't think I have it down to fine art though, I am determined to stick at it though and keep going, I think I need to lose 3 more stone and then I shall ease up for a while and try to maintian myself. Lois that is not a target just yetas its too big a target, I prefer to work in smaller target
Cant say I have tried the skinny peach and raspberry muffin yetI tend to go for the lemon and poppy seed skinny muffin. Skinny is an odd term though as it means "less than 5% fat" but does not allow for the levels of sugar and salt in the muffin. Are the syns that bad??
I went to gym this afternoon and did 25 mins cycling and 20 mins on the crosstrainer, then wandered around CMK shopping centre and found two more presents for my middle daughterMy little girl is getting old, I just bought her something from La Senza!! (dont panic it was Pyjamas
) Just had a dark chocolate kit-kat with my coffee though, very nice.
Well done Rachelmk on been able to avert a disaster, good on you, bet you are feeling good now! Hope the OH is a good boy this evening, will you be kissing and making up?? thanks for your words.
Thank you missmoneypenny as wellProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................
