A lot to catch up on today!

Lara - I love the dress , I am a big fan on those style.

Dinah - annoying you feel like you are treading water but you are getting somewhere and like you said at least you aren't getting in more debt.

Cinny - very exciting about the possible engagement, those are some strong hints!

Birdie - sounds like the interview went well, fingers crossed.

I bought some little pink flowery and stripy body suits for baby in sainsburys that were half price, so cute! OH was so sweet last night, he said I wish we could have a videocamera so we could see the baby all the time, bless him.

Cinny, Rock & Roll Bride is a really cool blog full of non-bridal brides, it's a great way to spend a few hours going through the pictures of different weddings!

Your OH sounds very sweet Wendz! Is he happy that you're having a girl and everything in his life is going to turn pink?

OH is making me laugh, he's more excited about the Royal Wedding than I am! He's starting to panic that it could be the same day as our friend's wedding so we won't be able to watch. I'm just waiting for him to come home with a William and Kate plate now!

Birdie - That blog is going to be my reading tonight! I love reading stuff like that. I had to have a little lol at your OH. Bless! I'm quite excited actually. Fearne Cotton was saying how there's already engagement mugs. I so want one! They are such a lovely couple though, he's got his Dads looks (admit it, he was a looker in the 70s!) and she's just annoyingly pretty.

Got a text from OH to say if I can get a Flip cam in the sales that he'll give me the money back as my Christmas present :j YesYesYesYesYes Finally! Just got to hope I'm lucky enough to grab one.

I think there have been engagement mugs and whatnot in storage for years ready for the announcement! You are an odd one if you ever thought that Charles was a looker! Poor William used to be dishy... he's now a bit squishy round the edges... and balding! Poor lad can't escape his genes! Kate's gorgeous though, a real English Rose. I loved that blue dress she was wearing for the announcement, it nicely complimented that enormous sapphire! Not sure if I'd want to wear his Mum's ring from a failed marriage though if I was her....

Yay to your OH for being so good to you Cinny! What are the rules for the Black Friday sale? Is there a limited number of items on sale?

No I wouldnt want to either. OH was laughing at me when she showed it because I turned my nose up and said I didnt really like it that much, he was going on that it probably cost tens of thousands of pounds and I still wasnt keen :rotfl:

It cost £28k 30 years ago (I think...) so it'll be worth plenty now! It looks like my Mum's old engagement ring (she got a new one for her 20th anniversary!), except the sapphire in my Mum's ring is about 8 times smaller! I wonder if she'll wear a dress like Di's too?!
