I'm not sure, CMD. I think wedding dresses are pretty but can't really imagine myself wearing one. I love this one, but it's so trendy now to do 1950s everything, and the venue is a really ornate victorian octagonal library, so I'm not sure it really fits. Also I've got quite a teeny budget - eek! Think I will end up with something second hand.

Another £75 in the bank account today from Quidco, but not paying it off the debt as need to have it available for car repairs. On the one hand I'm annoyed that we're just treading water, but on the other at least we're not getting more in debt to pay for the car.

Have played with my sig a bit. I've now included an approximation of loan interest (Poolie, any idea how to work out interest on a loan of 3.4% over 5 years borrowed £7875? - I guessed at £2800 because compound interest baffles me!) which has taken our total way up, but the good thing is is if we clear it quicker we'll pay a lot less of that. I've also included the money we've borrowed from my grandad. While we are paying that back on payday (and sending him a box of choccies to boot - go on then Martin afficionados, it's not a pint for £20 but whats £8 of choccies on £600 for ten days?!) it's still borrowed and we'll need to pay it back from somewhere. Cashed £97 out of paypal last night, if I could only do that every day we'd be sorted!

Swinstie that dress is lovely! Well, that's if I'm looking at the right one, image 7?? But heck, they're all pretty. Can't wait to see your proper one! Was it your birthday yesterday? Happy Birthday if it was, and I'll go put a dunce cap on for reading your post wrong if it wasn't :D

I do love that dress Lara, but I have to agree the 1950s thing has been over done recently. But if it's what you want, I'd say go for it. I've got my eye on this dress so I can wear these shoes as OH keeps on dropping hints.

Sounds like you're doing well on ebay though Dinah! Near £100 a day wouldn't be bad at all ;)

Just used a quick online calculator and it based on repayments of £143 then total interest would be £689 for the total 5 years.

Lovely dress and shoes Cinny. What's this about dropping hints?

NIM, it sounds like Dinah has got you whooped at the moment. Whats the cunning plan so you don't get left behind?

Well done on the ebay sales Dinah! I have made £30 on Amazon this week and I thought I was doing well!

It was my interview this morning, I think it went well. The job seems perfect for me so I hope that they liked me! The interviewers were really nice and I had them laughing a few times so that seemed positive. They also smirked when I said how much money I'm on currently and that it'll be 'definitely more' than that so that sounds good too, although I still don't really get why they don't just tell me how much it'll be?! They'll let me know soon if I've got it or not (not quite sure what that means either... end of the week? Next week?) so please send good vibes out for me!

That's a pretty dress Cinny... but do you mean you want it 'just because' or do you want to get hitched in it? I'm confused! I wish I hadn't clicked that link either, I want this dress! And it's reduced, must be a sign! I've been after a white/cream/ other pale colour dress just in case I get too warm towards the end of the night after the wedding and this one is so pretty!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
