Also found out NIMs car won't be ready until Friday, it's a pain in the neck but also 3 days less petrol to find so I'm not too bothered actually!
You might not be, but I'm the one who has to take the train, I'm now leaving at6:45 t get an earlier to train to cover myself just in case.NIM, it sounds like Dinah has got you whooped at the moment. Whats the cunning plan so you don't get left behind?
For the blackadder fans, I have a plan so cunning it could be professor of cunning at cunning university, a plan so cunning you could put whiskers on it and call it a weasal. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Glad it went well Birdie, I was thinking about you and your interview earlier, had my fingers crossed for you.
Earlier train is a pain, but magic-ing money for petrol from thin air is worse. At least the train is already paid for and its only for 3 days.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That sig looks way better than it did a week ago Dinah
£12 more and I have made the money for my coat, then I need to make money for my top, dress and shoes. Am considering asking OH to get me a more casual coat for Xmas. That way it will be a practical present and something that is good use of money.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Birdie - That dress to get hitched in, with black tights and a fluffy faux fur coat. Pin my fringe of hair up 40's style, with Chanel red lipstick and a french manicure only with dark green tips instead of white. But that would only work for a Winter wedding, and I'm over thinking now!
I love that dress you posted though, it would be perfect! Ohh, keeping my fingers crossed about the interview. It does sound promising.
CMD - He keeps on saying little things about us getting married. I told him aages ago I was going to stop talking (to him anyways *ahem*) about us getting married, as although we both know it's going to happen I'd like him to pluck up the courage to properly ask. Since then he's been talking about 'investing in metal', saying how because our birthdays are 3 weeks apart it would be neat to get married in the middle of them and keeps on looking at suits while we're out. Bits like that!
Just had a little sulk when I saw that Amazon are discounting Flip cams in their Black Friday sales next week. I've wanted one for months now, and the thought of my dream one being just over £60 and me still not being able to afford one is painful! They'll never be that cheap againI get insanely jealous of those people who do daily vlogs, I want to be able to look back on my life in stupidly great detail when I'm 100 and hooked up in my Wall-E floating chair. On the brightside, I found my Lip Smacker Cherry Cola lipbalm. Thought I'd lost it!

I think that would be a gorgeous wedding outfit Cinny. Sounds like you might need it sooner than you think!
Would you consider taking a weekend job to make more money? Are you near a Boots? That would be perfect for your make up addiction!
Birdie - I really hope you get this job. It sounds great and the extra money would be brilliant for you.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Is there nothing you could sell or any extra income earner you could do to make the £60? Or couldn't you ask for it for Christmas/Birthday off someone?
I agree with CMD on working in Boots - one of my friends works there and she gets an insane discount on her counter. She pays £2 for a bottle of clinique toner, I think its about £26 normally!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ahhh I see Cinny! Although I can see you in a proper vintage 40's tea dress type thingy, something a little bit special but still different. Have you been getting inspiration from Rock and Roll Bride by any chance?! How exciting that your OH has been making hints... I wonder if you'll get something for Christmas?!
Oh I meant to mention that dress you posted Lara, it's very lovely but I do think the 50's style is quite overdone now if you're just doing it because you want something different! I think with your venue you'd look lovely in a Jenny Packham/Temperley style dress... although not so expensive ()! They're vintage looking and quirky but in a more 20s/30s style.
Is anyone else a little annoyed about the whole 'Black Friday' thing that Amazon are doing? I love a good sale but it's a purely American thing because their holiday season starts after Thanksgiving unlike us who start shopping for Christmas around the August bank holiday! I just don't like even more American culture coming over here! Next we'll be having Thanksgiving too!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I'll third that about Boots! My Mum's discount is brilliant; I'm fairly sure she spends more than she earns though! When No.7 do their £5 vouchers she ends up getting all sorts for pennies because she still gets discount on top of the vouchers. And points! She got me a Soap & Glory giftset the other week that should have been £22 for £9! :money:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I've tried not to look at the Black Friday thing, as I can't afford to get tempted. Although if anyone who is following it see a dehumidifer super cheap let me know - our house is going to have puddles soon its so badly ventilated!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thats what I was thinking when I saw it. I suppose it's a good selling point to Amazon though, sure they'll be the first company to do a Black Friday sale in England?
But I can't say I've ever seen Rock n Roll bride! The only bride show I watch is DTTB.
The plan for when we're settled in the house is for me to get a second job. I don't really have the luxury of being able to say I don't want one anymore! There are plenty of places in our new village and the town next door I can try, so hopefully it won't take me too long to find somewhere. But still, not a squiggle of a chance of getting £60 spare by Monday. Would have been easily done before we had the house to think about, easy peasy!0
