My Mum keeps looking at my feet and tutting... she keeps saying I have to start looking after them so they look nice when we go away... I slap a bit of moisturiser on when I remember, what more does she expect?!

I've resorted to sorting out my own Hen Do now, my friends clearly couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery and keep arguing amongst themselves! I mentioned a pink limo to the bridezilla who upset me last week and she turned her nose up and said that it's 'more unnecessary expense'... I spoke to a few others who said they're up for it so I'm getting some quotes... if she doesn't want to pay she can make her own way into town! 2 others aren't staying over because they live nearby so I've had to find out how to get them into the spa and to organise extra pre-going out drinks and nibbles for them without getting a hotel room... I don't understand why they've not bothered to sort this out themselves and they haven't even bothered to tell me that they're not staying over! No idea how they'll get to the hotel for drinks before going out or what they'll do about getting ready, but I don't really care anymore. If they don't care to put any effort into my one and only Hen Party why should I worry? Oh and I think I may be getting beyond unreasonable now, my friend who I saw yesterday said she was going as 'Sindy' and I wanted to smack her! :eek: :rotfl: I know it's actually quite funny so I didn't actually smack her and got over it soon enough, but I had wanted everyone to be blonde and she said she was just going to get clip-in extensions for her dark hair... and she's just wearing a black dress and pink shoes with no actual 'theme' If only everyone took fancy dress as seriously as me!!!! :rotfl: Bridezilla hat coming off now!

ETA: (Crossed posts!) CMD is right Tete, one day you'll notice that you've stopped aching and counting the days...and you're ready to move on. It will take time though so don't feel bad for feeling bad. I feel awful for going on about my silly party worries when you're in so much pain

Breaks ups are so hard but its true that one day you will realise that you have not thought about that person all day....... and can I suggest that for a few weeks you try and only see your single friends or ask the non-singles to not talk about their men........

Give your self a budget of say a few hundred and make that your max budget and treat your self to some new clothes to match your sexy new hair. Its all about the confidence boosting stuff at the moment...........
