Yeah I keep feeling almost like little pops, exciting if it is it!

That's definitely it!!! It will keep getting stronger. I found it most intense when I was lying in bed at night

  • Zig, how about this dress for a slightly differen't take on '50s'? It was £35 in House of Fraser, so not sure why it's £45 on their site.

Aww that's exciting Wendz, I had a feel of my friend's baby's bum (she thinks it's its bum!) when it was sticking out (she's about 6 months) - it was very weird!

Thanks Dinah, oh I don't know what to feel I'm so confused. I cried in town just now at the sight of a little stumpy-legged pigeon :( But then I probably would have cried at that before...

How about this one Zig? Bargain! Stick a petticoat under it, throw on some funky retro accessories and you're good to go! :)

Oh dear Tete, crying at stumpy-legged pigeons is not good! I feel like I need to come up and give you a big sqeeze and a massive slab of choccy cake! xxx

    Agreed! *hug* :(

That dress is on the short-list along with this one. Just need to decide! Tete I love that dress you posted, I might have to get it to wear anytime! :D

Cinny, your poor OH, I'd feel the same. Are his family preoccupied with something at the mo that would mean their heads are a bit all over the place? Or are they just being mean? How old is your OH? (Not that that should a difference!)

He's 22, so I know they've been expecting him to move out for a while but there's still no need for them to act how they've been acting with him. He stayed over at his Mums on Tuesday night and she made a fuss so I think he's feeling better now.

I like the first dress btw, would you need to get a big OTT underskirt to go with it? Ebay does a lot of nice ones if you're still scouting though!

Sorry you're feeling a bit blue again Tete Emoticon__Hug_by_KuroiRaine.gif Going for a walk sounds good, all the fresh air and exercise will make you feel better and you'll sleep like a log that night! I really agree with what everyone else has said though, you deserve to know why. It's the only way you get some real closure on it all.

Dinah - I really like the targets and treats idea you're going for this time. I can't think of anything for the last one though.. hmm.. I'd do the noodle dance but I think I'm the only one here who watched PB & J Otter, so that reference might be a bit useless!

CMD - I love all the bits you got!! Making me all jealous though, I can't get new winter stuff this year *tear*

Wendz - That's so exciting about feeling the baby! :D

Hope everyones having a nice day! Been at the house painting but kind of hit a wall because we need fresh rollers and we'd just had a paint fight before we realised so didn't fancy going to the shops :o Getting annoyed at myself now though, I've had the same song in my head all day and the lyrics make me chuckle so I've just been laughing, seemingly randomly, to myself all day. Even the radio won't get it out :( Any ideas on how to get a song out of your head?!?

No idea but I'm laughing at the mental image of you chuckling to yourself randomly! I once had a song in my head for three days straight... on the 4th day I couldn't remember what it was for the life of me!

Ok, Banana Bread/Cake - same thing but looks more like bread cos you use a loaf tin IYSWIM.

    Ingredients:

    225g/8oz self raising flour
    1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
    pinch of salt
    75g/3oz soft margarine
    170g/6oz castor sugar
    2 medium eggs
440g/1lb bananas weighed with the skins on, peeled and mashed

    Method:

    1. Preheat oven to 180oC or Gas Mark 4
    2. Grease and line a large (2lb) loaf tin
    3. Mix together flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt
    4. Cream the margarine and sugar until pale and fluffy, add the eggs a little at a time, alternatively with the flour
    5. Stir in the bananas and put in the prepared baking tin
    6. Bake for 75 minutes - stick a knife in cos sometimes can be a bit wet still
    7. Cool on a wire rack - and give me a call cos I lurve banana bread

You can also add some choccie chips - freezes well, I usually heat up for 10 secs in the micro if been frozen (heat the bread in the micro, not myself, cos that would be stoopid). Enjoy!
