    Welcome to my world...........

The key is using all the discount codes and only buying what you know you need and will wear. I have had to become quite choosey whereas before I might have bought 2 coats at full price instead of waiting for the discount codes to come through. I was waiting 2 weeks for a Dune discount code but it came in the end.

When I was about 15 my Mum bought me a fleece from White Stuff and it was really nice but I couldn't wear it to school because everyone mocked the 'White Stuff' label on it, trying to insinuate that it was a different type of 'white stuff' _pale_ Horrid teenagers ruining everything!

Haha :D My brother is 15 and at his school they started a house system (like Harry Potter). One of the houses is unicorn and you can imagine how that went down with teenage boys because of the horn on the forehead = kn0bhead! :p

I like the pencil skirts, but I think the full skirt will be more flattering on me. I haven't shifted any of the weight I planned to!

How annoying, every dress on that Rockabilly site that I really like is over £100, I don't zoom in on the £25 ones do I?!

I feel your pain on not losing weight, I've been going to the gym 4/5 times a week and the weight just isn't coming off. Clothes aren't really feeling looser either. I'm sticking to it but why aren't I skinny yet?!?!? I know I'm going to have to really get into a diet to make a big difference and I am trying!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hi all,

Tete - I agree you should treat yourself, CMD's idea of using discounts etc is a great way to do it without feeling guilty. Hope you find something to do at the weekend.

CMd - love the clothes, you will def look like a yummy mummy!

Zig - the dresses you liked were both lovely!

Thanks for advise Birdie and Zig - I did think would be a bit pricy to do actual hampers.

    Thanks Wendz!

How are you finding the maternity clothes? I struggled until I found a pair of skinny jeans and then I came into my own!

I bought a few tops for my sister in New Look as they have a spend £40 and get £10 off deal at the moment. She has even less cash than me and I know how easy it is to get down when you are getting bigger and have no clothes! She started to feel the baby kicking at 18 weeks. How many weeks are you now - not long til you feel the baby too :)

Ooooh and I've got an interview! I found out who the manager of the job that I wanted most out of the 3 that I applied for was and e-mailed him to ask for some feedback on my application and he replied that my CV was interesting and wants to interview me! It's Wednesday morning... oooooh! I'm excited but scared! Said something in his e-mail about considering about what I would become in the role rather than what I need to get the role which has me thinking now! Luckily I've got enough prep time to think about it and come up with a good answer!

Very exciting, congrats! Sounds like they already like the sound of you.

I thought the same thing straight away too! Must be a sign ;) Or just add another country you want to go to. Irritating about the trains, I had the same problem when I was trying to get to my school placement. There's only so many times you can be late before looking really unprofessional - even if it's not your fault!
I can empathise about the trains Dinah, a couple of years ago I was using them to get to work and when they ran OK they were brilliant - took 10 minutes rather than the 45 the bus would take, and was half the price. But the amount of times we were left standing on the platform with not even an announcement to say the train had been cancelled was ridiculous. And with only one train every hour, and me in one of those inflexible jobs where you're only paid for the time you're actually clocked in, well, it was a nightmare. Don't blame you for repairing the car. Will you still get the train?

I've got a hair appointment for tomorrow evening as they couldn't fit me in on Saturday, which is a shame as I was hoping it would give me something to do. Everyone at work is stating to talk about the Christmas holidays and who's taking what extra time off around them :( I was going to but there's just no point now.

Oh I'm sorry, moan moan moan, I'm even getting sick of hearing myself! :o

I only get the train when dad can't take me, as it means one of my colleagues picking me up at the other end. Hoping to be driving myself again within 2-4 weeks or so, fingers crossed.

I thought of babies too when Dinah asked for suggestions! We're all clearly of One Mind!

I refuse to put babies in the gap! Babies will happen when they happen, but I don't want to schedule them in case its not the right time, but we still feel like we 'deserve' them or worse we slow down the debt clearing out of babyfear!
:kisses3: Thanks :o Birdie reminded me of the spa sale thing in the email but there's nothing nearby. I've emailed the college to see if they do massages or anything on a weekend but I doubt they will... If the weather's not to bad I might go for a walk, but I'm worried with my sense of direction I'll get lost without him there to lead the way :o Maybe I'll try a linear one close to home...

I'm away on Saturday but if you'd like company on a walk on Sunday I'm about. Can't go anywhere too inclined, but I can walk forever on pretty flat surfaces!
I know CMD, the more I think about it the more anger is seeping in. There I was making plans for Christmas, buying baubles etc, and all the while he's thinking that - I feel so stupid. And yes I'm angry that he's just sort of dumped me giving me no choice in the matter and no chance to rectify things. Hmmmm.

Angry is good. He really should have spoken to you about his concerns earlier so you could work on them together, or not moved in together if he thought they couldn't be overcome.

CMD - I am 17 weeks, keep feeling little things which might be baby but hard to tell! Can't wait till i know is definately it! I have found quite a few nice maternity things. I live in leggings most the time anyway so that helps! I got some nice topshop skinny jeans. I also went to H and M on Oxford street which has a really nice range and got a jumper dress and a cardy. My bump is quite little at the moment although I wore normal jeans yesterday and were too tight so will be maternity jeans from now on!

So exciting! I felt Max at 17 weeks!!! It was like someone was gently flicking me really really far down and it kept getting stronger.

I found that bump bands were great with normal jeans :)
