He stole this gimic from "The Thing" of Fantastic Four fame, couldnt like him because of it. Hell even Austin ripped off his gimic.

You couldn't like Punk because he took a line from Fantastic Four? Really? He's one of the best the WWE have. If he really does leave next Sunday, I'll be secretly gutted. OH is fuming because he only agreed to go too RAW live because he thought he'd see Punk. But he still gets Kelly Kelly and her tush-wiggling. So it isn't all bad juice!

I can talk the talk big time. So if I yell at people, you say 'yeah' then we leg it back to the car. NIM can swagger out with the flail. Yell 'IT'S CLOBBERING TTTIIIIMMEEEE' CMPunk style and the jobs a good'un :D

I love the idea of buying a street of houses! Or houses dotted everywhere. If only we all were rich. Though I'd no doubt still be coming on here for baaaargains. As my Grandad always says, the rich are only rich because they don't spend it. Mmhmmm!

RTOD is taking shape quite nicely!!!!

There's the perfect street of houses near us which we've earmarked for our lottery win. There are about 8 houses in a little secluded cul-de-sac away from the main road, all new builds but they range from 4-7 big bedrooms and they're all really nicely done out with top of the range fittings, think they were planned and started just before the housing market crashed so most of them are still empty now, we'd get a great price for the street I reckon... not that we've been making plans or anything! :p There's pub right in front too which is a little run down so we could buy that and do it up, bring in some good management and a decent chef and our local will be class too! :D

I'm also planning on opening a good hotel in town, there are no decent big wedding venues where we live, which is shocking considering it's a cathedral city (albeit a teeny tiny city!) where lots of people want to get married, then they have to travel 30 minutes to go to a decent venue. There are only 2 options currently, one is very upmarket and can only hold about 50 guests and the other is really run down so I'm sure *my* hotel will draw in a lot of business!

All I need now is a big win then I can start spending it! :o

To be fair I'm a bit old school, I am now and always will be a Taker fan...especially since he dropped the biker thing.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Hope your OH is doing well in his new job Poddle, and enjoying it!
    Hi Poddle,

How are you and how are the wedding plans going?

Thanks girls. Yep, he's fine! Not loving the commute, but likes the work and the people. He'd joined the 5-a-side team by Tuesday! SO easy for boys to make friends. And obviously he's a nice chap as well...

Wedding planning is fine - not really made any more plans yet! I'm enjoying a few wedding blogs and some Pinterest, but a bit scared of all the forums on here. The other May 2012 brides are WAY ahead - what will they be doing for the next 10 months?!

SO true, Cinny! Ah well, it's nice to daydream about lottery winning. It would be so amazing to have the power to do so much good! As well as treat your nearest and dearest. I rarely play the lottery, but it's true, as soon as it's over £100m I have a little flutter! Who wants a paltry £7m?! :rotfl:

ETA: My plans aren't quite as fully formed, Birdie! But I like the sound of yours. I'll keep my fingers crossed and gaze out of the window and work on mine for a bit...

I wouldn't worry about getting organised too soon Poddle, no point being left to twiddle your thumbs for 6 months because everything's sorted, where's the fun?! OH's friend's fiancee, bearing in mind that they're getting married in May 2013,has already bought her dress!!!!

Have you looked on TheKnot.com? You have to register to access everything but it's free (and you can set up quite a handy little wedding planner which is good, albeit a little scary!), the photos are fantastic, I got loads of great ideas off there! :)

I say that too about the jackpot being 'only' £5m or whatever.. it's hardly worth winning! Like I'd really turn my nose up at it! :rotfl:

My Brother is just the same. His wrestlemania match this year was amazing though. I just massively fan girl over Sheamus, Ziggler, Punk and Ryder. I only really remember Triple H from when I was younger, and that's just because I wanted to marry him.

I think a wedding is as much work as you make it Poddle. I thought the same as you. Only thing I would be aware of is if you're planning to get a dress from a proper wedding dress shop (as opposed to Debenhams, Monsoon off the rack stuff) then be aware it takes 6 months to arrive! I didn't realise this and when I went dress shopping on 6 months 3 days I had to pick one that day, and pay for priority shipping to speed it up a month as otherwise there would have been no time for alterations.

Are you planning big white wedding or more intimate in a pub or village hall or no decisions yet?

Poddle - I think its nice to spread out organising things otherwise like Birdie said you are left twiddling your thumbs. I really enjoy organising things so always like to string it out.

Birdie - great idea for a business.

I agree with Dinah. It is as stressful or stressfree as you make it! And the only thing I would get in advance is the dress, as they do take a while to come in!

Sounds like a lovely weekend Wendz :)

    Me too! Can't wait... :D

Thanks Birdie and Dinah for the tips. I'd like to lose some weight before dress shopping, but if I start in September then should have enough time.

We've booked the venue - a beautiful barn out in the sticks, so I'm planning quite a laidback wedding with a cold buffet of local produce etc. But I do still want a big white dress!
