Zig, step away from Facebook! Only bad things can come of it!

Agreed, its going to do you no good and just muck up your head.

Ours is amazeballs, especially with the superking duvet so there are no duvet wars (most of the time!).

While I agree with the sentiment, the word amazeballs made me spray the screen with coffee, cheers Birdie.

I think we're going for Kingsize. There's only a £50 difference between the two. We already have some kingsize duvet covers. I'm just a little upset because both my family and OH's Nan got us some lovely duvet covers when we moved in together, and this means we can't use them anymore :( We're thinking of maybe just making do with our current duvet until Winter anyways, then we can buy a super duper thick one.

I second everything Birdie just said, Zig. We might not always know what to say but we're always going to be here if you need a chat to take your mind off it, or want to get whatever's buzzing around your head out. And it's the same to everyone on here, don't feel like you have to say sorry when you're feeling down.

I forgot to mention yesterday, I had a call back from Hovis. I mentioned I'd rather have the money over the car, but obviously either way is awesome. I can put some back in my savings, get the Kitchen sorted, have a holiday and still have some to one side for a car if I want it. I've always got the option of just putting a couple grand to one side for the upkeep of Gregster & OH's car. (whom I'm not allowed to name, but secretly call Minty :D)

:rotfl: Our car doesnt have a name. OH wont allow it. To be fair, I say our car, but I very rarely use it. OH uses it for work, I walk to work. I actually cant remember the last time I drove it, I hate driving, and OH hates me driving :rotfl:

I used to call his old car 'the mistress' because he was always out on the drive messing with something on it.

TBH I've struggled to name a car since my first, Suzy Saxo! I loved her, wish she was still kicking about now. I think my inability to bond with any other cars since her is due to not being able to fully let go :o My current car (I'd say our but OH still hasn't passed his test and refuses to drive because his 'feet are too big for the pedals' pah!) is a Punto called Boy Blue because he's.... boy blue! :p

Yay for the callback from Hovis, hope you get your cash soon! How much will you get?

I also forgot to mention yesterday that OH has signed up to do the Great North Run! So we might see SuperLucy there! :) His Mum works with Downs kids and is involved in a local charity that supports them who were after some people to run to raise money for them so she offered up OH's services, who in turn has offered up the services of his friend to run with him since, and I quote, 'I'd have put you down Robs but there's no way I could run all that way at your pace, it'd take us 3 days!' Cheeky get! :o

I'm not sure it's awesome or terrifying that we'd have a 'roadtrip of doom'.

Need a few bits at Tesco tonight, completely out of bread, milk, oil, garlic, fruit etc. However the last 4 times I've been to Sainsbury's I've got a till spit for £4 or £6 off a £40 spend - Tesco accept these. My last one expired 3 days ago, but I'm going to pop up to Sainsburys at lunchtime and spend £1, see if I can get a cheeky till spit out of it! Going to Tesco not Sainsburys overall as I find them a bit cheaper, and the big Tesco which is only about 1mile out of our way on a different route home usually has absolutely loads of reduced stuff about 6pm on a Friday - so hoping to pick up lots of berries to freeze for pennies (and some wraps, been wanting some all week). Does this count as suitably moneysaving to merit my retention on the DFW board?!

Got all excited last night, my bank account was about £600 higher than it was yesterday. But then I clicked through and realised it was the money from paypal my brother got from selling his bike. No idea why it came to my account not his. On the plus side £40 of it is mine for selling some software, and NIM has about another £50 in his paypal to withdraw from some sales this week. Hoping to get lots more listed this weekend - more than anything I'm sick of the clutter!

    Morning all

Zig - agree step away from facebook, always worries you over probably nothing. You are not an idiot either, if things seemed good how were you supposed to know! We don't know what is goin on in mens heads.

Archersluck - nice to see you come out of lurkdome!

Tete - i would not have been able to do it without OH. Getting up and down those stairs in the tube with a pushchair was interesting. Yay fot the wool, what are you planning on making?

Cinny - good choice to go for the kingsize, love ours but we don't have much room in our room at the min with a cot and moses basket. Looking forward to her moving to cot and i might stop walking into bed haha. Also good news you heard from hovis.

Dinah - hope you feel less tired today!

hi to everyone else, my baby brain is failing me now lol. Need to do some cleaning in a bit as got friends from uni coming to visit tomorrow.
