Hehe Tete, I think I'll have to do that if they do turn up empty handed! They came round to ours on NYE and they'd told us that they had a load of crisps and snacks so we didn't have to bother getting any in, they turned up 2 hours after they said they would with nothing and it was too late to go to the shops... that was the one time they got a (drunken) b0llocking off me! All night I kept apologising to everyone else that there wasn't enough to eat because someone had let me down!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Tete that is a FANTASTIC idea, Birdie please please please get me an invite. I REALLY want to see the reaction. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
I shall practice my innocently horrified look tonight for the best possible effect! No doubt we'll get there first so I'll talk to hosts into leaving a shelf in the fridge empty and make a big show of leaving room for all of the food... oh, you mean you forgot to bring something? Ah.... well I'll just pop a few more of *my* beers in here then shall I?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Probably, their sense of humour is as wicked as ours! They're not even really their friends, they just invited them because they didn't want them to feel left out, OH hates it though as they're linked to us so he gets embarassed when they turn up with nowt!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Birdie, I tend to use white vinegar and baking soda, and sometimes a bit of lemon, when I'm cleaning at home. I just like the fact it fizzes! And nothing else makes my sink shine so nicely :DQUOTE]
Be careful with lemon Cinny, granite work tops in particular are very sensitive to lemon..that would be a BIG compensation claim!
Wish you lived near me, I would love you to come sort my house out.:D

Oh no, I don't have anything as fancy as granite for a start! I only use lemon juice on the sink for down the drain to freshen and clean with a bit of bicarb. But thanksShame I don't live closer, I could do mse rates!

At least she isn't the far end of the country like I am.
Mrs Poolie is out tonight and possibly tomorrow so what trouble can I cause. Time for a think I feel.
What a week at work so busy then I decided to dial into the Q1 results call. Wish I hadn't as there was talk of streamlining. Hopefully I and my team are safe we should be as there is enough dead wood to remove before they get to us. My Manager isn't worried as says his confidence is still high for our team.0 -
