Sweet Mercy, that would be pretty handy!!

And boo to your OH not liking the name Ralph. Tbh, I don't think my OH is keen on it at all. But it's the very little baggage I come with. But I do love Mason, Brock, Jack, Joel, Alex and Lucas too. I really like the name Noah too, but for a girl. Not that I think about these things or anything!!

We're supposed to be keeping it secret, but as I dont know you in 'real life' I will tell!! Noah is our strong possibility at the minute, one of the only ones we have agreed on so far!

 @ The Wiki-ing! I've definitely not read that book! :rotfl:

Noah's a nice name Flower, I'm sure it'll change a dozen times over the next few months though! :)

I want Erica for my girl and Alex for my boy.... not that I'm making plans or anything! ;)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    I think Noah's a gorgeous name - I imagine he'd grow up all strong and sensitive :o

I hope your tiredness passes soon Flower and you enjoy the next few months of pregnancy :)

OMG, Tete I'd totally forgotten about "Ralph" until today! Though now I might start using '"fireman" instead. Not that I use ralph or anything :rotfl::rotfl:

I used to LOVE Judy Blume (it probably is an age thing...!) and I was really tempted by the new Sweet Valley High book when I was in Waterstones the other day.

Ugh petrol prices are so depressing - at some point soon it's going to cost £50 to fill up my little car :(

ETA: Wendz, I've just added you on FB - would love to see Poppy pics :)

Poddle, I wish it only cost us £50 to fill up.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Did you decide to keep your new(ish) car that's not very efficient? Was that the problem? I remember Dinah saying something like that just after you got it...

Can't afford to sell it, plus I LOVE driving it. But the economy is pushing onto 40 now.

It costs OH a good £60+ to completely fill his car. But it does get him about 600miles. We rarely fill our cars up though, my Grandad drilled it into my head that you should run your car on half full at most because 1. it's less weight and 2. if someone steals it they can't get as far :rotfl: Mine is less, maybe £40? I haven't filled it up in so long though, I honestly can't remember!!

Noah is a beautiful name if you ask me. But then I've already stated my love for it! Like Birdie said, chances are it might change before you meet him but it must feel better to have a couple names you know you both like!
  • Ok, toothache, you need ibrufen (sp?) and paracetamol, you can alternate them 2 hourly. Cloves....ew no, no, no!

In books firemen are always described as hot and throbbing but Ralph felt like ordinary skin...

    :rotfl:

Noah is a lovely name Tink, on a Biblical theme I think I've said before, I really like Judas (Jude for short) but it's a bit like calling your kid Adolf isn't it?

When I first got my car in 2007 I couldn't fit £25 worth of petrol into it, now £35 doesn't fill it up (I have a very small tank apprently!) - your Granddad's logic is thought-provoking Cinny, I always fill up as much as possible so I don't have to go as often, and also because by the time I need to get more it'll have gone up AGAIN!
