I've got it on in the back ground too. I don't like it when everyone starts going 'Urrghghwwaaaayyyywooooobooooo' I just think, shut up. Sit down. Lemmie listen to the one with the child's face.
Petrol is crazy. I only fill my car up once every 6 or 7 weeks, so I know I don't have it that bad but normally £40 to one side does it with enough left for a cheeky kit kat but it didn't even fill Greg up last night. I only drive about 30ish miles a week though.0 -
I wish I could do 30 miles a week, I don't think I'd even need the car (bliss!), but we're doing an average of 1800 miles a month, and it is gauling with feeding the car over twice what we feed us.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

So far no richer, no poorer. Everything seems to be about business, not the little people.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Dinah - the holidays all sound fab, something to look forward to.
We are planning a trip to Lake district in the summer to visit family as haven't been up there in ages and think the family up there will be keen to meet the new addition. My Auntie has knitted lots for me bless her.
The petrol prices are crazy. OH has been getting train as much as he can as he gets it free but some of his shifts finish at 3am so is just not possible.
We also might take a trip to Cornwall or somewhere and stay in a cottage.0 -
My god the 3 year old got some of it right. (I'm just kidding Cinny, he's at least 5 n a half):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

There is already an office pool on if petrol prices will actually rise as they pass the increase from 20% to 32% directly on to us! Good on paper, lets see if it works though.
I was suprised nothing about benefits, maternity/paternity, or ciggarettes and alcohol was mentioned.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Why are you saying sorry to me? Am I the token Tory in this group? eta: Oh, and he didn't go to Eton
Only just seen that!
I missed half of the budget as we had a delivery and the guy upstairs decided he wanted to sing about his life for a while (I'm not even kidding) The important parts will be on the news later I guess, I can catch it then.0 -
Your the only one I know is a tory. That said, for the record I'm unaligned, I'd be making similar comments if old badgerfeatures, or...erm...(whos the libdemwomble involved in budgets?) was doing it either. :LThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is good. It is way duller today but not as cold as it has been. My flat is a tip and Max is in creche so I need to stop procastinating and just get on with it and clean it!
After a long and difficult think, I have decided to quit my job. Those of you who have popped into my diary will know my reasons. I am happy it is the right decision.
