Awwh, I'm the other way around. I get the appeal of a different culture, but I'm too inlove with exploring little parts of England to go anywhere else at the moment. My head would pop if I factored in the rest of the world! Hoping next year to get a week or two in St Ives during the Summer, but it's Somerset and fishing this year!
Feel bad for you MumWish it was easy to say the 'firsts' are the worst, but my Mum still gets the wobbles when my Grandma's Birthday rolls around over 10 years on. But your Mum has got a pretty fantastic support unit with you lot, hopefully it won't be too bad for her.

I'm not sure if we're better to keep her busy, or pretend it doesn't exist. Luckily she'll have work on Grandma's birthday which will stop her thinking about it too much.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I suppose play it by ear Dinah and see how your Mum is feeling on the day?
I would love to book a weeks holiday for myself, OH and Max before baba number 2 comes along but given the way I feel about my job at the moment, I am not sure it is a good idea, as we may need all the money we can get.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I'm just praying for a reduction in fuel duty. I understand these are tough times, but next month we pay cross the £500 a month in diesel line, and that's just ridiculous - it's getting on for being the same as our morgage!!!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Okay that just hit home, what we spend on fuel each month would pay a morgage of about £90,000 on repayment.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
