  • Im so sorry to hear about your Nan Dinah. xxxxxx

I listed 24 items at the weekend, mainly books and DVDs. I do not have 1 watcher yet let alone a bid. I then listed on old going out top of my sisters (size 22) and I have 15! watchers and a bid already. Plus sized clothes really sell well due to lack of choice in the stores I think....

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!

the nurse pointed out to me the other day that I'm right at the top of a healthy bmi and I need to address it.

 I can't believe she said that to you - you're so slim!! Be careful won't you, you need to keep your strength up. Got my scale back from the house at the weekend and weighed myself this morning, have lost half a stone since the breakup as suspected :o

Wendz there's no way I'd be watching that if I were you - I don't even watch it now! Saw my friend who is due on 3rd Feb at the weekend and she's tiny with this enormous round belly - she doesn't seem unduly scared though :)

EDIT - I've heard that Tasha, can be quite a moneymaker for people who've lost a lot of weight!

Gosh that's not long Wendz! How exciting!

Your dinner sounds lovely Dinah, I'm liking the sound of your spinach, yumyumyum! Have you started the Shred yet? I did it again last night and it's getting a lot easier as I get used to the moves and the necessary muscles are growing, I may move on to level 2 but I'm not sure if I'll get as much out of it as level one because I can't do so many of the exercises, it's complicated looking and I'm not good when it comes to co-ordination!

It's my Hen on Saturday and I'm super excited! I had a play with my make-up last night, I've got some wash off fake tan and it's really dark, I scared myself every time I caught sight of myself in a mirror because I never look like that! It took ages to wash off too, I have a feeling the hotel won't be too pleased with me because my pillow will be brown!

Bit miffed about the Bridezilla 'friend', she got her sister to e-mail everyone with the details of her Hen on Sunday (had a little rant about it on the Bridezilla thread!) so the week before my party when I should be getting all excited about my do is being spent sorting out hers! What 'convenient' timing... Her fiance (total Groomzilla) has done the same thing to OH as he's having a local Stag on Saturday and he has to spend Sunday going over what this guy wants for his party as now he thinks it a contest because another of our friends got engaged a week ago and the wedding and Stag Do are already booked, the Groomzilla actually rang OH and said, 'Can't believe M has booked his Stag party for June, the w*nker!'.. this is his friend! I've totally lost all respect for him, I think OH is telling him on Saturday that he doesn't want to be best man, I hope he plucks up the courage to do it! The two of them are just ruining our time, we're not talking months, we're talking the few weeks before we're married that we want to enjoy and not have to stress about the increasing costs of their wedding! I've decided I'm not going on the BZ's Hen party, it's so much money (going to end up being more than £300) and her attitude when she called me last night (I thought it was to talk about my party, but no, it was about hers!) was that comparatively mine's expensive for a night and hers is two nights so cost per night is roughly the same... but that's still more than double what mine's costing!

Anyhoo, only 32 days till we fly! Argh, excited! OH (vain sod that he is!) has been on the sunbed this morning so I think I'm going to have to go so I'm not too pale in comparison!

ETA: I'm going to have to see if my Mum has any old plus sized clothes to sell, I didn't know they were a money maker!

I agree with Tete Dinah, you're so slim! Don't go crazy with the dieting to lose more weight you don't need to.

Speaking of, I've had a little turning point in diets. There's a guy on Twitter called Kenneth Tong who was on BB the second to last series (I think) he's pushing the idea of 'managed anorexia' and there are all these girls following him wanting to be skinny, calling him an inspiration and he's posting such sick things to them. It has, however, confirmed what I've been thinking for a while. Life is worth so much more than worrying about your weight, I eat well and I'm a size 12. So diets are banned from my house, and I'm adopting this attitude to it all from now on.

Tasha, good luck with your ebay bits! The only place I can think of for lovely plus size clothes is Evans Beth Ditto ranges, but they're so over priced it's no wonder people turn to ebay.

Urgh stupid work blocking things, I can't see what you've linked to Cinny! I think you've got a very sensible view on it all though, I hate seeing young girls starving themselves to be skinny. Surely this guy who's sending harmful Tweets should be stopped?

I used to strive to get down to 8.5st but I've accepted that it just isn't going to happen! Ever! I'll be happy with 10st right now which is healthy BMI wise and looks wise. Just 13lb to lose to get there! I just love my food far too much to really seriously lose a lot of weight and keep it off. On Saturday night we went out with friends for dinner and I should have had a salad... but I thought, 'sod it I'll have the calzone!' and it was lovely! My muffin top is well earned! ;)

A relative of a friend of mine has rather a large beer/food belly and he pats it and says proudly "It's all bought and paid for, that!" which is true :D Where is the pic from Cinny? She's not even remotely fat!

Birdie I hate to say it but you all sound like Zillas in your group of friends - everything's such a stress! (sorry *hides*)

:rotfl: LOVE the pic Cinny!! Although I hope size 12 isn't fat now or I am in big trouble. I am just starting to sort out my clothes, getting some new ones that I really feel fab in and more importantly choosing some items that actually go together! Yesterday I got my hair cut at a posh salon on a training day for free. The teacher was really nice and customised it for me from the basic style the student was learning. It did take 4 hours though...

I've been trying to get back to work but my concentration is all of two seconds long at the moment. Feeling really dumb after Christmas. OH is working from home too and we have been squabbling quite a lot lately. Kampala doesn't seem too bad now!!

Birdie I hope the Bride and Groomzillas sort themselves out, it would be a shame if their petty ways distracted you from the excitement of your own plans for even a second. It's getting so close now I can't believe it. I need to see pics of your hen too it sounds so funny. You'll be Mrs Birdie in just over a month yipee!

Tete, so nice to 'see' you. I have enjoyed reading your blog and seeing your crafts on there.

Wendz I love One Born Every Minute, they are so good. What was that lady like screaming away, ohhh my goodness. Did you watch the other series? There were loads more chilled out ladies on there. 99 days now, wow that's going to be so cool. Are you excited, or does it not seem real yet?

LOL, it's only that one couple who are getting married, they just keep causing problems because theirs is the 'Wedding of the Year'. I'm really trying my best to be laid back about our wedding and the only thing that stresses me out is their wedding, not ours! OH and I don't cope well with money woes at the best of times which is why it's getting us so worked up! Maybe I'll be much more relaxed after my massage on Saturday... oh and the 2 week holiday next month! ;)

Oooh and I've been really enjoying your blog too Tete, you're getting so clever with your crafts it makes me jealous!

Sounds like you're having a lovely make-over Lara! I daren't do anything to my hair other than get a little trim, every time I try to be brave it goes wrong and I look like a loon for months as it grows out! When are back in Kampala?

You should do this in time for Wedding of the Year, you'll look brilliant in all the photos ;)

Aww thanks for your compliments girls, lost my mojo a bit recently but have joined a knitting group so am getting on with my crochet squares for my friend's baby blanket, but I've been looking at dress patterns online today and feel all eager to get started but by the time I get home I'm shattered and there's no natural light - I think this is the crux of my non-creativity!

Oooh what a good idea... I've always fancied green hair too! :)

It won't be much longer until the nights are lighter and with the extra light you'll feel more energised so you'll be whipping up dresses in no time!
