    Happy Christmas Eve everyone.

I have just hoovered everywhere and cleaned kitchen floor, so hopefully looking acceptable for the family coming now. Getting my hair blowdryed this afternoon and then family should get here later afternoon. I am so excited!

Literally just popping in to say thank you for all the kind replies and that I hope you all had a great, even if not perfect, Christmas.

I've had a cold for days now and that is doing my head in. But Christmas was a success - no arguments! :D But my sister has started cutting her legs again so that is very worrying. Her legs are very scarred already. Hopefully she will be booking a counsellor appointment in the new year.

But anyways, I apologise but even though I have read the last few pages it hasn't entered my brain at all so I will read again tomorrow, just wanted to wish everyone a happy christmas! xx

    Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a good Christmas. I had a lovely day and got some lovely pressies. Unfortunately i came down with a sickness bug on boxing day and so spent the whole day in bed. Slowly feeling better but now OH has caught it...great!

Zig- hope your sister is OK, glad you had a good Christmas anyway.

Hello all! Back at work today... but only for 6 hours, hopefully! Not so good tomorrow and Thrusday when I have to work 2-10 and count lots of teeny parts in a freezing cold warehouse for stocktake! :( I'm trying my hardest to convince people that I've got loads of work to catch up on in the (warm, clean) office but I'm not sure they all believe me!

Christmas was lovely. Christmas Eve dinner was a success, we did forget the gravy but quickly whipped some up and is was lovely because OH accidentally put far too much red wine in it! Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner and OH's Mum said that she's never going to cook Christmas dinner again because she can't top us, don't know if that's a good thing or if we've dug our own graves! Christmas Day at my parents' was really good too, the game Mum had planned was really quite poor, she hadn't been wearing her glasses when she bought it and assumed it was a murder mystery style game, but it was a train quiz set to old fashioned music on the included CD, we turned it off once a strange man started talking and making train noises! We had a good time though, and OH was happy because he got to watch the Doctor Who special! Presents wise we got a 'good haul' (in OH's words!). Remember that big £60 S&G gift set that was half price just before Christmas? I thought my Mum had bought it for me since with her discount it only cost £21 and she'd been going on about keeping an eye out for it... she did buy it but for herself! I was gutted when she showed me everything in it and then packed it all away and put it back in her room! I'd have given her £21 for it all! I did get lovely presents though so I'm very happy with what I did get!

Sorry that your sister is still bad Zig but at least you had a good Christmas. Sorry that you've been ill too Wendz, how awful! Did everyone else have a nice Christmas? xxx

Christmas here was good, although far too short!! Finished work at 7pm on Christmas Eve, and was back in at 8am on Monday morning :( all the same was a nice couple of days!

Zig - I hope your Sister gets some help. Self harming is a horrible thing, even if you've been through it yourself it's hard to even imagine what's going through peoples heads at the time. I really hope she's okay :(

I'm back at work this morning, just for today for a little overtime. Then back on my holidays until next Tuesday!

What's everyone up to today? I'm off to see my Sister at my Parents after work. She's going to Paris tomorrow for New Years then is only home for a day or so before going to California to see her Mr so I need to get my Sister time in! Plus I can scrounge some tea and get my nails made all pretty again too :D

OH and I ventured out to the shops but we didn't last long, he still feels awful and im not 100%. Starting to feel like i could possible fancy some chocolate which is a good sign.

Birdie - glad the Christmas eve dinner went well, sounds very successful.

I'll try to find the camera to give a picture of teh gingerbread house. It needed serious structural work and propping up with bbq sticks to stop the roof falling off! NIM spent hours on it.

NIM and Poolie are sat in the lounge nattering like old maids, while I'm curled up in bed with a bar of galaxy as I feel shaky, very cold and achy. My joints have been really stiff and achy for about 2 weeks now, but feeling more generally rough today.

Bit belated, but some VERY exciting news for my new company, got our first 3 orders through. I have no idea of the size or profit margin on them, but going to see my supplier in the next few days. Great that things are finally happening.
