You really have turned in to a baking machine Dinah.

Heading up to the North East tomorrow night. How is the snow and ice?

Just have to drop Mrs Poolie off at Heathrow on the way.

Thanks for the update. I should be ok getting up to the North East on the M1/M18/A1(M)/A168/A19/A689. Sounds like it will be back roads of Hartlepool that will be interesting.

Other thing - Most excellent - Lets see how long we can keep his quiet before the Ladies start asking lots of questions.

I am good thanks CMD, a bit bored today though!

Wow what a lot of baking Dinah, sounds like you have been very busy.

I have just put breadmaker or so we will see if that works!

The 19 had a 2 mile tail back northbound outside billingham today so don't bet on that one being clear.

What time was that? I plan suspect I won't be hitting Billingham till nearer 11pm/12am!

Birdie - I'd just put some red lipstick on and clutch onto a bottle of vodka to look Russian! Have to say, that game your Mum's planning does sound a little fun. And your table sounds fantastic :D

I'm sure you'll get to be together for Christmas CMD, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you anyways! I bet Max looks super cute in his little costume!

Been out at my parents all day to see my Mum and pick up the joint we've been keeping in their freezer. Had to go buy some eggs on the way home and my God, people are bloody batty. I thought one old lady was going to batter somebody with her basket when she found out there weren't any carrots. Honestly, her eyes kind of glazed over and I'm sure I saw little hell fire flames in her pupils. Wanting to get festive, watch all the movies on telly and wrap up presents but we got our letter for council tax today and I need to figure it out!

Last day at work tomorrow. Was supposed to be a full day but we can leave at 1 now so only 4 hours. Annual report is finally coming together now so fingers crossed it'll be finished off tomorrow. Annoyingly, the boss is on annual leave now, just when I need her to say what kind of things need to go in her sections. Might have to stretch it to first day back after the break but really don't want it hanging over me until then!

Hope the report is OK Dippy, try not to stress about work over Christmas! I'm finished 'till Tuesday now, got loads to do when I go back but I trying my hardest not to care! :o

Good idea about the lippy and vodka Cinny! I think I'll wear some big sunglasses and my fluffy earmuffs too!

I nipped to the supermarket after work to pick up a couple of extras (goose fat!) and it was utter carnage! So glad we did our shopping on Tuesday or I may have been a crazy lady on a carrot rampage!

I want to see a picture of your gingerbread house Dinah!
