Grill it with a little brown sugar on top!
Or just cook it plain and serve on top of fried onions and asparagus.
Grill it and top with sesame seeds.
Bake it in a thin layer of pastry.
I love salmon!Dream of being mortgage free....

Make a butter sauce with orange juice and zest (Seville is best, but sweet orange with a squirt of lemon). Yummy!

I have some tandoori spice powder which you mix with lemon juice, yogurt, crushed garlic and chopped ginger and spread on top of the salmon. Then you leave it to marinade for a few hours and bake in a hot oven for twenty minutes or so. It's really delicious and there are so many flavours there that you don't taste the fish so much.0

Try smearing with sweet chille sauce, wrapping in foil and bunging in the oven! Sauce forms a glaze and takes the edge off the fish taste!0

Square of foil, smear some butter on so the salmon does not stick. Put the salmon in the middle, a little salt and pepper, squeeze half a lemon on top and if you have it a little white wine, gather up the foil into a parcel and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, allow the salmon to go cold in the juice and then put the parcel in the fridge overnight and eat next day...............yummy.....if you like limes you can use lime rather than lemon juice...............September grocery budget........trying for £80, not sure if I will make it though!!!!! I certainly did not last month, lost track of the final bill. Will do better this month honest.

If you want to hide the fishy taste a bit why not make fishcakes, poach the fish, then mash and mix with bit of mashed potato and chilli, any other spices or herbs you fancy, an egg or bit of milk to bind then shallow fry.

I'm not much a fish cooker but have some fresh salmon in the freezer and am wondering what to do with it?
Just looking for simple general ideas. Something I can do for 2 when I return from work. Fed up of doing these things with salad all the time.
Thanks in advance.0
